Awful experience with scheduling. Never really felt like a client and more like a number on a board.

Had a very unprofessional encounter with the technical photographer sent out to my project.
We Needed a crawlspace assessed for a remodel and the technical photographer flat out refused to do her job.

We offered to make accomodations for the photographer so she was more comfortable, and I even offered to take the pictures myself. We were denied service after no more than 5 minutes of conversation and told we could reschedule. We agreed and were given three different times to schedule again.

Turns out none of these agreed upon times were accurate, and we were treated very rudely while trying to get this sorted out. These people clearly don't have their schedules put together and aren't on the same page about it so we ended up wasting time.

This could have been a very positive experience because Paul seems nice and knowledgeable. But unfortunately his employees are not up to par and seem uncomfortable in construction environments.

I am happy to give Honor Builders the highest rating for the work they did for me. I was having a foundation issue and really was not sure where to turn. The structural repair company wanted me to use their Engineers. I did not like that approach. Even though Conor was located in Colorado, by sending him photos of my crawlspace and coordinating with the repair company, I was able to get the best objective service possible. The pricing that Conor charged was extremely reasonable. Conor's analysis of the repair issues (I had a twisted beam), was detailed and understandable. If I had any issues, or the company I was working with had questions, Conor was readily available to address their concerns and come up with solutions. When the Repair company did not complete the work according to the specifications, it was Conor who noted the discrepancies after I sent him an email and additional photos. The repair company apologized and did the balance of the work. If they had not, the County Inspector would never have approved the work performed. Paul was also available to physically come to personally inspect the repair work if needed. However, because of Conor's excellent report and follow-up, Paul was never needed, which resulted in a lower charge for me. If I ever have any issue that involves an Engineering concern, I definitely recommend Honor Builders. Excellent service, excellent price. And I had excellent results!

Paul was amazing to work with and provided superior customer service! I called on Tuesday with time-sensitive concerns about a foundation issue, and he was able to come out the very next day to review it and give me his feedback. His years of experience and knowledge let me know that I could trust his findings. I highly recommend, and will be going to him for all of our future engineering questions!

In working with the city on a owner built project, I was in need of an engineering review of the plans before submitting for a permit. I contacted Honor Builders and eneded up speaking directly with Paul. He understood my needs and provided an estimate over the phone the cost of the review and stamp. Once provided with the plans they were quickly reviewed and returned with a stamp and within the budgeted estimate.

In addition to professionalism, Paul was a pleasure to work. I would recommend Honor Builders to anyone in need of engineering services.
