OHI was extremely professional and detailed when helping us plan our new kitchen. From the beginning, they listened to our wants and design wish list and then turned that into a reality! The crew of workers was excellent and we truly enjoyed having them in our home working. *Update: We were initially pleased with the work carried out by OHI during our renovation. However, we have been disappointed with the follow-up from regarding issues we had. Despite their acknowledgment of concerns with our walkway, they refused to resolve the issues. The ceiling on the porch they built is currently falling in and will need to be replaced.

The wood floor they installed began to warp within 6 months. After lying to us about the timing and method of installation, they attempted sanding and refinishing, leaving hairs laminated in the wood and stain splattered along the baseboards, appliances and big spot on our marble fireplace hearth. And it is warping again

They have ghosted us and do not respond to any of our issues. Run FAR from this contractor.

Our project was to create a "great room" for our post-war split-level house and a new kitchen. We removed a closet in the middle of the main level and relocated the air intake. Additionally removed the attic/crawl space and vaulted the ceiling which was my dream: to have more than 8 foot ceilings!
OHI Design listened to all of our requirements, created a wonderful design and then communicated with us at every step of the process. They really learned and understood our taste, which was important because we didn't know where to begin with some of the decisions we needed to make.
The contractor team who worked on our job worked as if it was their own home— the attention to detail at every step was incredible. They kept approximately 9:00-5:30 schedule daily, with a plan each day that they communicated to us, leaving time to clean at the end of the work day.
Our neighbors made sure to tell us they appreciated our contractors as well--they were very respectful of the neighborhood.
ALSO they said our project would take 2-3 months to complete. I didn’t believe that because friend's experience suggests that means 4-6 months. In pandemic times with covid delays, they completed the job in 11 weeks.
We are so excited and inspired by this project that we are starting outdoor work with OHI next week!

OHI Design is the absolute best! Their work is high quality and precise, with wonderful design ideas and solutions. We got a few quotes and OHI Design's was by far the fairest and most straightforward. We knew exactly what we were getting and for how much, no surprises! The contractors doing the work are clean, friendly, and efficient; I kind of miss not having them around. Kitchen gut jobs are a pain to go through no matter what, but they made it so much easier. My new kitchen is absolutely amazing and I've gotten so many compliments.

Full kitchen remodel with some modifications to the existing room. This project was not a simple remove and replace. What a difference! New kitchen looks AWESOME. Let’s be honest, the Internet is packed with kitchen remodeling nightmares. And researching local vendors was giving us concern, until we met with Whitney and Scott from OHI Design. Up front and honest. Scott kept the structure sound, giving me quality feedback surrounding my ideas and Whitney provided solid design and creative solutions. Great ideas and great collaboration. On project start to conclusion, the installer was on-site on-time every time! Whitney stayed connected with us talking through minor changes, etc. Great communication with PM Herb. Definitely hire again.

My wife and I just had our circa 1978 townhome kitchen remodeled and updated to 2020 from OHI Design in Manassas Park, VA and we couldn't love it more! From the first day we walked in their showroom, to the finished product, it has been a complete pleasure working with Scott and Whitney. They were very easy to talk to, work with and are extremely knowledgeable about their products and the whole remodeling process, which made the whole experience a dream and all we had to do was pick the finishes and they did the rest! They were especially responsive during the whole process via email and phone calls. Plus, their crew was top notch, very courteous and professional also. We highly recommend them if you are interested in remodeling, or just some flooring, paint or home construction needs. They do it ALL! Couldn't have asked for better people to work with. After reviewing several companies for a kitchen remodel, we were impressed with the design, level of professionalism, and dedication from OHI. They gave us their initial design and we made a few adjustments. We worked together and they listened and were able to come through on each and every aspect of the remodel. Whitney was such a pleasure to work with and gave us great design ideas. We even picked out our kitchen countertops and came over budget but Whitney was able to get them to come down to a lower price to fit our budget. We are so grateful that we found OHI Design to design and execute our kitchen remodel. The communication was wonderful between the entire team, even the owner was in contact with us to make sure we were happy with everything. We loved that they are family owned and operated and it was obvious they put the home owners experience first. Our kitchen turned out beautifully and was complete in time for us to host a huge Thanksgiving dinner.
