I can not say enough good things about Cardiff Construction! Chase, Bray, and Stacy are fantastic. They communicate effectively, show up on time, stick to the schedule, and do an amazing job! They are kind, respectful of your time, and want to make sure the job is done right! I mean you really can’t ask for more! I had the BEST experience with the Cardiff Team. My large project was completed on time and within budget. I miss the team being in our home. They all are intelligent, innovative, dedicated, professional, trustworthy and kind.
I cannot wait to do another project with them (hopefully in 2025).

My project was a major renovation to enlarge my bathroom and make it ready for me to age in place and refresh the living area connected to it.. Throughout the project, working with Chase Loomer and his competent and congenial staff was a pleasure. Chase uses project management tools and these serve to inform the customer of timelines and keep the project on track. The project, even with my getting COVID, was completed on time and on budget. Chase and his staff connected us with suppliers and advised us--when asked--on building material choices and on proper handicap arrangements. The subcontractors he has retained were all first rate and considerate of our time. The finished product is a great piece of craftsmanship and a joy to use. I strongly recommend Chase and his team if you have a major renovation project.

After living in DC for over a decade, we decided on a move to Richmond with our growing family. After several months of house hunting, we finally found a beautiful, older place in the Fan district of the city. Although it needed some complex renovations, we knew it had potential. We just needed help! So we reached out to friends in the area and several of them recommended Chase and his team at Cardiff. Spoiler: We're so glad we met them! Not only did they do an amazing job transforming the house we now call home, I was also impressed with their ability to simplify and then execute our vision. We recently completed a renovation and addition with Cardiff - during the final weeks of a pregnancy, and first few weeks of life with a newborn. Needless to say it was a crazy time, but they did all in their power to make it smooth. In addition to the quality of communication, timeliness, and professionalism, the quality of the work was well done and we love our new spaces. The team became a part of the family for those few months with our kids greeting them each morning. They were always on time and communicated each day what was being done and what to expect. We never had a lapse in productivity or action which was essential for my sanity being 36 weeks pregnant. When met with any feedback, they quickly addressed and remained optimistic and diligent throughout the entire process. They also made sure to clean up each day, replace air filters when needed, and take proper precautions to ensure a safe working area by limiting dust and debris. This level of attention to detail was crucial for our family - you truly get what you pay for with the level of service and craft from Cardiff. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality, kind, skilled and efficient team!

I met Chase in the middle of the pandemic. He was leaving a local UPS Store and held the door for me as I was coming in. I immediately recognized his company’s name as I’d started following them on social media some months before. We exchanged pleasantries and I complimented his efforts and attention to detail with recent projects. We talked about the challenges of getting supplies timely and quality issues given the pandemic and you could tell that made navigating his business tough. Despite his concerns he was positive, honest, extremely passionate and his sincerity/ transparency left a lasting impression. He gave me his card and a year and a half later I reached out to begin the process of planning a renovation. From initial contact to completion of our project I have been thoroughly impressed. His team is compromised of thoughtful, hardworking individuals that put the customer’s experience above all. Words alone cannot express my gratitude for the highly skilled craftsmanship, planning and commitment that went in to making our project a complete success. No detail was overlooked and I will use them for all future renovation needs.
