We love our new home !! It has exceeded our expectations. Pablo is such an asset to Visionary homes. From taking the time to show us several homes to finding the one. He helped us through the process of purchasing. He is so knowledgeable, one step ahead, and quick to respond with any questions or concerns.

I’m sad to leave this 1-star review as I love my home. Jordan was fantastic to work with during the property and home purchase. However, about 2 1/2 years after closing, the interior glass of my slider shattered. This occurred because Visionary installed the entire sliding door frame crooked (confirmed by the video showing nothing damaged the glass, and I had multiple contractors confirm the door frame was installed crooked). I complained numerous times to my super during construction and after move-in; I showed how the door didn’t close without pulling inward (or outward depending if your in/outside), and I asked if it would get worse as the house settles and the what warps the frame. I was told it was normal.

Unfortunately, I deleted the texts with the super some time ago, and I no longer have access to BuilderTrend to check messages and previous warranty claims. Supposedly, the only claim related to the slider was for the lock, which they say was a simple fix. I’m fairly certain I included, if not written then verbally when they came to fix the lock, that the door frame isn’t straight. I was told it’s normal to have to pull/push the door in/out so it aligns with the frame and closes.

I submitted a warranty claim asking if Visionary will at least contribute to the repair costs. Sadly, I received one reply stating this far out of the warranty, neither Visionary nor the glass vendor will contribute at all. I replied, and received no response.

I understand there is only a 1-year warranty, but a $670k home shouldn’t have this issue, and the builder certainly should be more willing to at least work with me on a resolution. Now I’m out $3k+ to have the entire door and frame torn out and reinstalled correctly.

We recently closed on our house with Visionary Homes, and the entire process was fantastic! From our initial meeting with Dustin to our Design Studio visit with Hailey, every step was seamless and enjoyable. However, we especially want to highlight JT, our project manager, who truly went above and beyond.

JT kept us informed at every stage of the build, always listening to our concerns and ensuring they were addressed promptly and thoroughly. His communication, attention to detail, and dedication to making sure everything was done right made the experience stress-free and enjoyable. JT’s commitment to quality and his professionalism were unmatched—we couldn’t have asked for a better guide through the building process.

We’re so grateful for the incredible team at Visionary Homes and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. We’ll be sure to share an updated review after a year of living in our home to provide a full picture of the experience and the quality of the house!

We love our floor plan and our neighborhood at Fenn Farms! Much to our dismay, disappointment, and disgust, Visionary took some proven short cuts and cheap ways of building these beautiful homes. Note the following:

HVAC: Winter in Great Room/Kitchen area. Despite our thermostat being set at 75-degrees, it is FREEZING downstairs and hot upstairs. We've had to run a separate free-standing electric heater to somewhat warm the downstairs sending our power bills skyrocketing. At the time of construction, we questioned Austin about only 2 ducts for this entire area. He said, "The minimum per code is 2 which is exactly what you have." No changes could/would be made. We aren't alone with this problem. Numerous neighbors have had their ducts sealed because of this problem. It didn't help much. They to are running electric heaters to warm the downstairs.

ELECTRICAL OUTLETS DOWNSTAIRS: Almost every plug is on the same circuit. We cannot run a vacuum at the same time our electric heater is running because it trips the breaker EVERY time. The electrician who came out, per a warranty submission, said "per code we had the maximum outlets allowed on one circuit, and nothing could be done."

CLOTHES DRYER: Our 1st dryer wouldn't dry our clothes. We purchased a new one. It doesn't dry our clothes either. Now we're told the dryer vent on the house was installed or designed wrong or very poorly by Visionary. Numerous neighbors have the same problem. This adds much more to our power bills making this a VERY poor energy efficient home.

NAILS COMING OUT THRU SHEETROCK: We have a few nails pushing out of the sheetrock. Numerous neighbors have the same or worse problem. Why weren't screws used? Nails should NEVER be used on sheetrock.

LANDSCAPE: There was so much construction garbage left in our soil. We'll NEVER get it all out. The final grade was ridiculous.....more like What Final Grade. Other neighbors have had the same problem.

We were so excited to build our forever home with Visionary. We told all our family, friends, and social media how wonderful Visionary was. Sadly, now we don't/won't recommend them to anyone.

I don’t recommend Visionary Home Builders, They do not stand by their work and have very poor quality of workmanship. Homeowners invest so much money in a home, just to discover later that every shortcut was taken in building the home.

I have had such a great experience! Especially with Mike from the warranty. He was super responsive, quick and fixed an issue. I wish to always encounter professionals like that. Highly recommend 👍

We bought a home with Visionary in Dec. It was a spec home sorry didn't get to choose any upgrades to the home which was fine since the home came out with so many beautiful upgrades already. We love our home. We just move here to Utah from Virginia, due to my husband retiring from the Air Force after 25 years of service. I accepted a job at Hill afb. When we moved in we noticed that there was some pieces missing on the steps from the garage going into the home. I have contacted Sean our contractor many times since we moved in at the end of December to have it fixed. It has now been 2 months and still no progress. I am very frustrated as I mentioned earlier the house is beautiful however the follow-through and communication is horrible. I do not feel comfortable referring visionary to any of our friends in the military moving into the area due to the lack of follow-through and communication. DMCO2
