When my apartment got broken into, they wouldn’t do anything to help. When multiple people in my complex complained about the same neighbor, they wouldn’t do anything to help. When my storage unit and mailbox got repeatedly broken into, you guessed it, they didn’t do anything to help. The lady in the apartment next to me passed away and unfortunately was in the apartment a while after, and the new tenant told me his unit looked like it hadn’t been deep cleaned. Also they asked me to film a video tour of my apartment for the next tenant who was interested a month before I had to move out? Shady people who don’t care about their tenants at all. Do not rent from them.

They have scroungy apartments in bad neighborhoods and expect your credit and background to be perfect. I have a great rental history, and income is far more than needed, but they won't even work with us! This says a lot about the owners if they are too rigid to even offer the use of a cosigner or extra deposit. Don't waste your money applying for their apartments! They are probably just collecting the application fees !

Will raise your rent in a pandemic and take advantage of you in any other way they can find! Outsourced their emergency maintenance line to a call center that will make you feel worse about your problems and they don't pay the city for trash, teenagers from different random companies come take it instead.

We stayed at Rachel Manor for a year and the apartment itself is very outdated. The carpets were filthy, the bathroom had mold/grime, and our oven only worked 50% of the time. Management was very responsive, however nothing was ever actually fixed. The location is a little sketch. We have had homeless stay the night in the stairwell several times. There was also miscommunication in the contract and we were returned very little of our original $500+ deposit. They charged us immediately upon move in and we ended up accruing late fees because they did not communicate to us that it would be due right away. It's also very easy to hear neighbors through the walls.
The only nice thing about the apartment was the month to month lease agreement so we had no issues leaving.

I lived in one of their apartments for over a year. The apartments were clean and well maintained. During my whole experience with them, they were always fair. They did a good job of communicating information to me and what was expected. No surprises or BS. They were also pretty good when it came to maintenance. When it came time to move out, I received most of my deposit back and only lost a little for things I knew were my responsibility. Overall, I would say they were great landlords, no complaints.

I’ve lived in Jean Larie for over two years. The management is great. Clear communication and quick to resolve maintenance issues. The location is wonderful, close to everything you’d need and about ten minutes from downtown.

The apartment itself is clean, well lit, with plenty of storage. My only compliant is the thinness of the walls. You can hear conversations and music coming from every direction. I don’t think I had loud neighbors, the walls really are just that thin. If you have a heavy footed upstairs neighbor, the floorboards squeak quite a bit and will shake your light fixtures.
