Working with Land Design was a pleasure from start to finish! The scope of our landscaping project included complete lawn removal and regrading, drainage work, new driveway and patio, and xeriscaping with full drip irrigation The team led by Nick Armstrong on design and Chance Armstrong on site management were professional, courteous and true to their word.

We couldn’t give a high enough score to our recent landscaping experience with Landscape Design. Extrememly professional and efficient. Friendly crew and project manager present daily. This project included removal of a huge amount of old tree roots, old sprinkling system amidst a lot of river rock in the soil. They also removed an old retaining wall and replaced with this beautiful tumbled stone. We love the rock path, new sprinkling and drip line and perfect plants for our desired natural mountain look. The entire job, down to the smallest detail was completed in 8 days. The crew was so nice that we already miss seeing them. Thankyou so much! The Packards

They were extremely professional throughout the entire duration of our project. Very communicative and responsive to any of our inquiries. We absolutely love our new front and backyards and are excited to see what it will all look like once Spring comes around and we get the remaining trees/plants that still need to be planted and see everything in full bloom! Would highly recommend to anybody interested in landscaping their yards!

The front yard was landscaped. I am very pleased with the work. Everyone was professional. The problem that was found with the main water pipe was well taken care of. The turf is level, smooth and looks wonderful. The rock looks really good. I love it!

If I could give 10 stars, I would! I found Land Design on Google. The first people to come look at my backyard were impressive, on time and have a great price for a design. The design was beautiful, exactly what we wanted! They provided a budget and stuck with it the entire time. Once they got started, the team arrived every day before 8am and worked all day. Not a single delay. Chance, our project manager, had our project dialed in the entire time. He knew everything going on, came over all the time to make sure it was moving as it should, took care of issues (made them a non issue) and finished the project on time! Noe and his team can do it all! They did literally every square inch of our backyard, turned it into a thing of beauty. I will be recommending this company to all my friends and neighbors. We were beyond impressed! Every step of the way!! Thank you Land Design!!

I got to say LAND DESIGN BY ARMSTRONG pulled this off in record time. They extended so many different ideas to us, the Design was Superb. Jeff and his crew had every aspect of the weather, the sunlight, what plants do their very best in certain locations. I’m not done with this company yet, I’ll will have Land Design by Armstrong use their magic and ideas for the backyard. From one business owner to another I know what it takes to make customers happy and Jeff and his crew made the very best of this landscape. True professionals

Definitely hire Land Design if you want a company that is timely…that is, timely with their invoices and not timely with showing up to work. The work progress crawls but the invoices are always sprinting well ahead of schedule.

Definitely hire Land Design if quality of work is not a priority. One portion of our project included installation of pavers. The manufacturer recommended a minimum of 6” base below the pavers, but Land Design applied a 1.5” base. The owner, Jeff, came on site and, despite all of his expertise, could not differentiate between concrete and polymeric sand. Pavers were buckling, sunken, cracked. Every phase of the project had a significant problem with both quality and timeliness. We were left in a mess.

This is only a small fraction of the details and only sheds a small amount of light into the company that produces poor quality of work in an untimely manner. It’s the worst of both worlds: poor quality, slow pace.

But wait…there’s more! You get all of this, plus much, much more for the very unaffordable, over-inflated, ever-changing cost that far exceeds their original bid. What more could you ask for in a company?

Definitely hire Land Design if deadlines, quality, transparency, affordability, and integrity are not important to you.

When you read the company’s response to this review, written by the Controller, Abbey, she will dismiss my comments with a canned statement: “We are sorry you are not satisfied with the outcome of your project. We prioritize customer satisfaction. We always aim to exceed expectations. Please reach out to us if there is anything further we can do to make it right or try to earn back your trust and business.”

My counter-response would be: “Fortunately, there are companies that exist that know how to competently and capably perform landscaping and outdoor living projects. After moving on from Land Design, we hired one and could not be more pleased with the end result.”

We enjoyed working with Chance as our project manager. Chance was an excellent communicator and kept us posted on the schedule of our project. Dave did a great job on the design and was very helpful with recommendations. Noe and his crew were good to work with and allowed us to make modifications to the initial design and were always very receptive to our questions. We are very pleased with the end results.
