We stumbled upon Glover's Nursery because our local nursery was bought out by a national company, and buying local really means something to us. While we were looking around, we were introduced to Ben, and he gave us a quote for a rock fountain/water feature. His quote was about the middle as far as other quotes for the same thing. But we're a 'Buy it nice, or end up buying it twice' kind of family, so the decision was easy when we asked Ben a question and he would reply with an answer or detail, not tell us that he'd have to get back to us.

Ben brought out 2 employees with him, and they were done by lunch. He was thorough in his instructions for taking care of the pump and gave us some recommendations for ideas for the other end of the yard. They left no trace that they were there, and we will most definitely be referring Ben and Glover Nursery to everyone.

As soon as we get most of our backyard finished this spring and make some room, we'll be going back to get a concrete face that they have that reminds us of our honeymoon in Florence, Italy where we saw a very similar face sculpture at the Boboli Gardens.

My wife and I stopped in to find shrubs and a shade tree. We didn't know which shrubs or tree to select. Jessica was there to help us make the right selections that would suit our needs. The tree was not available yet; however, Jessica contacted us the same day it arrived. When I picked up the shrubs and tree, Jessica came over to make sure everything went smooth. Jessica is extremely knowledgeable; we couldn't be happier with the service from Glover Nursery, especially the help from Jessica. Amazing!

I bought 8 Eldorado feathery grass plants on May 24, 2024. Within the first month 3 of the 8 plants looked like they were dying. I babied them all summer. The other 5 plants have thrived. Today August 26, 2024 (actually for about 2mos) the 3 plants look dead.
I came to Glovers to see if they would replace the 3 plants or at least give me some credit towards 3 new plants.
The answer was "No we do not warranty perennial grasses" I purchased these plants because I had purchased 4 of the same plants in May 2023 and they came thru the winter beautifully.
I now know this will be my last purchase from Glovers and I will let friends, family, and neighbors know they should purchase elsewhere.

Whenever I'm in the area I make a point to come to Glover. They have a wonderful selection and good quality. I appreciate how when the garden centers near me don't have what I'm looking for I can call them. I'm not sure how, but they always have what I need. And sometimes my cart accidently fills up with more than I anticipated. 🤷🏻‍♀️😁

After shopping six different nurseries in the last couple of days looking for specific trees I wanted, I visited this place. This is really a gold-star type place. Great variety and reasonable prices in a beautiful setting. Their customer service was very good. Helpful people willing to assist and answer questions. I’m sure I’ll be a regular customer here. Let me first say that I really liked your sales rep (Amber) outside of that, what an atrocious experience! I fell in love with the scent of your climbing rose “Rise Up Amberness” so I bought one climber and one regular rose bush on Saturday. It’s now Monday and I had to throw both of them in the trash, which broke my heart.

Most of the roses weren’t deadheaded properly, but figured I could simply fix that at home, boy was I wrong! I didn’t even have these roses for two days and the new blooms had wilted just like they had in your nursery. Upon further inspection, I found that there’s a thrip infestation! The wilted blooms weren’t spent blooms, but a result from a sick plant that shouldn’t have been sold in the first place, let alone at full price!

I’m not new to gardening and understand that pests come with the territory, but why would I spend almost a $100 between these two bushes just to have to wean both back to health while possibly infesting the rest of my garden that I’ve worked so hard on?!

If anyone would’ve even bothered to check to see why the blooms were wilting so quickly they would’ve seen what the problem was. Now I’m stuck with having to go to another nursery to fix a problem that should never have been mine to begin with.
