Like others I would leave zero stars if it was an option. Where to start. These folks are burying conduit in our neighborhood to move the electric service underground. Which will be great once completed.

In the meantime these folks failed to get an initial survey of the lots in our neighborhood to understand where the easements and right of ways were before they began digging in June. Almost immediately they not only severed the water main and 2 water service lines to homes. Within a day or two they then dug directly across a neighbor's empty lot some 30-40' out of the easement because they have no clue where the property lines are.

There's a huge uproar from the residents, the mayor gets involved, Sturgeon electric and Rocky Mountain Power get complaints and finally B. Jackson pays to survey where they should be digging. Who in their right mind thought you could bury conduit in a neighborhood without knowing where it was legal?

Even now once they've had survey stakes to work within they've screwed up. They've severed the water main 3 more times, severed 1 more water service to a home. They continually block roads in the neighborhood leaving residents a new maze of equipment and tranches to navigate to come and go every day. They've left trash all over. They've filled in the culverts that drain water off the road. They've flattened berms that were used to divert water off the road. They failed to bolt down drain grates after they moved them causing the grates to go flying out from underneath cars when folks drove over. That only took 3 reminders for them to repair tho so that was a win?

But best of all when they are required to work within a 10' easement on the side or back of a property the destruction to property is 16' wide. They've taken out mature trees, flowers, shrubs, grasses, bushes which they've refused to replace or repair as mandated by law. Their project manager had the gall to say she pushed to even have grass seed spread at some point when they didn't have to do a thing. So they destroy our vegetation then potentially threaten to bring in some non-native seed and maybe something grows back.

B. Jackson got in way over their head on this job and we are the ones paying for it. They are a clown show in safety vests on a good day.

EDIT: In response the the owner's reply. No trees have been replanted, no seeding has occurred and dumping gravel on a road does not make it better than we had it. I've added your project manager's texts to the photo gallery where she states that B Jackson would replace trees before they commenced work, then once the destruction was done that B Jackson would not replace them at her bosses direction! I invite the owner to leave the office and get eyes and ears on what his staff are really doing in the field.

Google (54-3-27. Public utility easement.) Review subsection 2b.

I would give no stars if possible. This crew has been surrounding our neighborhood for over a month. They have completely blocked my driveway multiple times, parked in front of our mailboxes repeatedly, even after contacting the manager that they cannot do that (USPS will not deliver anything, including packages to our homes if mailbox access is blocked) The crew are unbelievable rude and leave messes all over(only to be cleaned up after I once again contact the manager, including lunch mess, cigarette butts, broken glass, chewing gum, garbage bags). They stand around in the middle of the road so you cannot even enter your own neighborhood. (No, they do not move and they glare at you for daring to enter their "work zone", even though it's your home they are blocking.) They have torn up yards, park strips, and have killed multiple plants. And if you ask any questions, they are condescending and disrespectful. Never once have they knocked on the door to ask if it's ok to be in my yard, to block my driveway, block access to my home, etc. I have young plants in my park strip that are now dead because they tore them out and left them exposed. No one will give me an answer as to when it will be done, including repair of the sprinkling system pipes they tore up. Not to mention the pathetic way they "cover" the deep holes they leave. Thank goodness I don't have young children who could easily fit though the "barrier" to the deep hole. And the NOISE! For more than a month the incessant noise from the workers and the machinery and there is no end in sight.

B Jackson had the job of burying all of the power lines in my neighborhood. This was a complicated endeavor, especially because we couldn't tell them with any certainty where all existing water lines were buried. When water lines were unintentionally struck they were very quick to fix them. Whenever the road was blocked they were very communicative about how to get around it. I really appreciate the effort B Jackson took to make a difficult project manageable. Thanks everyone!!

I can't wait another moment to share a few of my honest heartfelt comments about this business -- and most specifically about Talisha, the manager of an immense and overwhelmingly large project for B. Jackson up in the subdivision where our cabin is located in Forest Glen A. This project involved preparing to have RMP bury our overhead power lines. I have dealt with professionals in all facets of the construction industry for several decades due to all of our various remodeling projects. I have never ever encountered such responsiveness, such respect, such professionalism, such kindness and such attention to detail as Talisha has provided to me and to my family.
This project involved close to 100 families and has taken several months to complete. Each family has their own set of unique challenges with their property. I'm sure each of them has contacted Talisha numerous times with their specific needs. I cannot, absolutely cannot believe Talisha. She is UNREAL. I don't think she ever sleeps at night because she cares so much about each of the people she is working with.
She has always taken the time to send me pics of our property, maps of the area, accommodated my requests to make their work the least possible invasive to our property, to give me suggestions, and to keep me informed with all of the road closures and work being done so that we could access our property. I mean, who does that? She cares about our property as much as if it were her own. I think the longest I have ever waited for a response from her is like 30 minutes. Ever. All throughout the past several months. I have never encountered someone who honestly wants to do the best job possible and who will do everything in their power to please their customers/clients/and the world at large. I have never received above and beyond customer service with anyone like I have with Talisha. She is the face of B. Jackson Construction & Engineering and makes them look absolutely terrific. I hope they realize what a treasure they have in her. I am just overwhelmed with gratitude for all she has done for us. Thank you, Talisha. There just aren't enough good words to say about her. If there were more Talisha's in this world, this world would be a much better place. If this review sounds too good to be true -- it isn't. It's all true.

Great place to work! They truly care about their employees and their families. They also make it a point to drive home the importance of always putting residents first in the areas we’re working and make sure complaints are taken care of promptly. I’m proud to work for BJackson 😊

They were contracted by my city to install fiber lines. They moved my irrigation equipment without my knowledge. I found pieces of the box and could not find the box itself so I assumed it had been destroyed and buried. I called them to come back out and at least find the lines for me. They refused. They claimed it wasn't their problem and that they had video. I asked them to send me the video to prove it and they refused. When I called back multiple times to get an answer, they either would hang up on me once I said my name or refuse to answer at all. This was the most unprofessional experience I have had with a contractor. If you value your property and time, try to find someone else. I had to get the city engineer on the phone to get this fixed.

Oh brother, these guys are ridiculous. Get your white supremacist dogwhistle BS off the highways. Nobody is "treading" on you. 🙄 Looking at other reviews, it seems like common sense is a foreign concept to them in general. I know who I'm never using for construction.

I have to agree with another on here. Come in rip up your grass, dirt, bulbs, annuals, sprinkler pipe, slip slop job no consideration. Full of promises all to put in cable for a internet we don't want. Didn't have a choice!! I was very upset, would NOT recommend this company to do any job!! Big or small. Also to Herriman City for forcing this down our throats admist your high property taxes!! I think it should have been a choice!! When you can't get out there to try and put your yard back together for something you had no say in its total bullcrap!!
