I purchased a new Wright home in May of 2023. I chose a Wright home because of the many upgrades (lighting, cabinets, powder coated solid steel railings, 3 car garage and full landscaping).

A friend told me to checkout a Wright home because they are a great family owned business. I looked at so many other new homes and was never pleased with the quality and finishing details. I looked at multiple new Wright homes and immediately noticed the quality and attention to detail.

I have friends that own new homes from other builders and their biggest complaint is “when something goes wrong it’s nearly impossible to get it acknowledged and resolved”.

My experience with any warranty request or issue has been top-notch. I have built a great friendship with Steve Petersen who is the Director of Construction for Wright homes. He investigates any issue or concern and addresses it as if it’s his home. He genuinely cares about quality and customer satisfaction! That’s hard to come by these days.

I can’t say enough about the amazing experience working with Steve and his team. If you’re looking for a quality home and a builder that stands behind it, I would highly recommend a Wright home.

Overall we have had a pretty good experience with Wright Homes. There were a few kinks when we moved in that definitely should have been taken care of first before we moved in but they got most of them taken care of w/in 2-3 weeks after that.

Cons:

I hate the massive curbs to get in and out of the streets and the south facing driveways. They're massive and I scrape on them every time, even when taking a harder angle. I also wish we had our own mail boxes on the town homes, it's annoying to drive out to the box for every time. Our place was originally set for a move-in date for late August and we didn't move in until mid-october which seems to be a recurring theme with other homeowners near us. Luckily we were in a spot where we didn't need to be moved in right away and could wait it out. The construction workers are a little sloppy - we always have trash and things blowing over from the construction across the street but that should clean up as people get moving in.

Pros:

They're pretty easy to work with. We liked our experience with Kenny and Dave. The townhomes are a fair price for what you get although I wish they found a way to make the master a bit bigger and take some square footage away from the other two rooms. We liked the upgrade options they had and we did a lot of them and they're all holding up well thus far. Parkside is a good location with lots of food and shopping options around it. We have a great view of the mountains so here's to hoping they don't build on the field to the east!

Home builders often have a reputation for using cheap labor and equally cheap materials in new builds. Wright Homes exemplifies this reputation and continues to perpetuate it with their new constructions. I purchased my home in 2018, and during the inspection walkthrough with the builder, we noticed multiple issues: a 100% chipped driveway pavement, uneven walls, and creaking floors on every level, to name just a few.

We submitted requests to repair these problems, but Wright Homes pushed back and ignored our requests until we moved in. Upon moving in, we submitted a follow-up request to address these issues, only to be told by the builder that they could no longer do anything since we had officially moved in. These problems remain unresolved and will not be fixed.

Let me save you the trouble: if you’re in the market for a new home, do not choose Wright Homes. They will avoid correcting their mistakes even when you follow the proper protocol. You could hire a third-party inspector not affiliated with them to try and correct these issues, but Wright Homes will still fight all claims and refuse to make things right.

Avoid this builder if you want a quality home and a builder who stands by their work.

We absolutely love our new Wright home. It looks fabulous and has turned out exactly as we envisioned.
Cheryl Hannon was our agent and she was an absolute delight to work with and of invaluable help during the entire home buying process.
She gave us some valuable tips during the design phase and we're glad we listened to her because she was absolutely right.
Thanks to her and our supervisor Danny, we have can lights and switches right where we need them, the right plumbing and electrical connections.
Danny also helped ensure that all our upgrade options were included in the construction - when we moved in, we found everything we ordered was included.

I just closed a home in Wright Home's Subdivision, Fox Landing, working as the buyer's agent. It was a great experience working with Katie Maddy, the sales agent there. Katie is one of the most informed and experienced builder's representative that I have ever worked with. She was helpful, thorough and communicated with us throughout the entire process EVEN when things were difficult with rising interest rates and market changes. I also loved working with Joanne, who made the design process so enjoyable for my buyer's and gave them some great advice to make their home beautiful!
