Michael and his team did a FANTASTIC job on our kitchen remodel! In the spring of 2023, we discovered that our dishwasher had been leaking for an unknown period of time. The subfloor around the dishwasher was rotted and our homeowner's insurance would not cover the damage. We decided to remodel the kitchen instead of just replacing the dishwasher. We were pricing appliances and picking out cabinets on a Saturday and Michale knocked on our door to let us know he was in the area offering his construction services. It was a great coincidence as we were about to start looking for a contractor. We took 3 bids and decided to go with Silver Basin as it was the best price and we had a gut feeling that Michael was the right guy. He kept his word on the schedule and hit the dates that we agreed upon. He was transparent with his pricing for labor and materials. He also responded well to any issues that came up and took care of them when the onus was on him. There were some unforeseen repairs needed as the subflooring issue went beyond what we agreed upon in the estimate. He was fair in the change order process and this new work did not slow the schedule down. I would not hesitate in calling upon Silver Basin for our future projects and would recommend him to my neighbors and friends.

We wanted to replace our old 10ft x 10ft worn out wood deck coming off our upstairs kitchen. We initially talked to our neighbor who was having a restoration to his kitchen and other rooms in his home. He recommended his contractor, Michael Carmody, owner of Silver Basin Construction. Michael came over and talked to us about our proposed project, which turned out to be a 14ft x 24ft Trex deck with a very creative and attractive stairway down to the ground level.

Michael was more than fair with his project estimate and provided his ideas throughout the entire project. We were impressed with his integrity, attention to detail and completion of the project according to code and within budget. Michael is a licensed contractor and electrician. We were so impressed with his work that we asked him to also replace the master bedroom balcony with the same Trex material and railing and outdoor lighting.
