Extremely disappointed with this structural engineer company. Promised results were no where near delivered. Poor communication, lack of accountability, and subpar workmanship. Would not recommend their services to anyone. This does not care for the people in there community only money.

DKE was amazing to work with! I needed foundation plans for a detached garage and they took the time to make sure all of my concerns were addressed. They were very affordable and they also finished my plans a little earlier than expected which was amazing. I would highly recommend them.

DKE has been one of the best contacts I have made as a remodel GC. I have used them (Jolease has always been my PM) several times to assemble beam calculations for changes made to loaded walls. They are professional, ask the right questions, price projects at what I think is more than fair and get a design over quickly. I always supply their calculations and drawings to the City with my permit application and have yet to have any issues getting a permit approved. I highly recommend DKE for remodel structural calcs (but I know they do a lot more than that!).

I was SOOOO impressed with Kevin at DKE. I called to ask for a quote and some help on a remodel. Turns out, I didn’t need any engineering done, but he was so professional. He offered to write a letter to the City if they needed further proof. I ended the call thinking that if I did need something in the future, I would definitely call him. A few minutes later, he called me back to verify a few things to make sure I was taken care of.

I had a very bad experience with David Keith Engineering. My project was small, alough for me a fairly large backyard deck. While DKE won my bidding process, they were 30 days late in starting services, reassigned the project to who I think is an inexperienced person that made many mistakes in the plans, and ultimately provided very poor customer assistance.

Additionally, they have engineered the structure in such a way that was too robust in some areas (requiring the most expensive hardware on the market), not robust-enough in other ways (undersizing vertical supports), and we're unwilling to consider alternatives suggested by a contractor, or city engineers.

The engineer in question, Chris Roades, made numerous mistake that I or the city engineer caught, took too long to fix. Some mistakes he flatly refused to fix. With other things he re-drew and re-calculated what I did not ask him to do and then expects me to pay for it.

No management oversight has been brought to bear even though I tried accessing. I would not recommend using this firm AT ALL. I'm only rating 1 star because Google won't allow a zero star selection.

I have loved working with the whole DK Team. Jordan and his whole team are so willing to work with you as well they have the insight and the knowledge to suggest adjustments that have same me thousands of dollars when building on lumber concrete re bar and so on.
