Pierce construction was excellent from beginning to end of our home build. We lived out of state for the entirety of the build and they communicated with us effectively to discuss progress of the project and to relay any deviations that were necessary through the build. Similarly, they worked together with the architectural design company to insure the build aligned with the design goals. The payment system was set up such that completion of one phase was confirmed before release of funds for the next phase. This gave us great confidence that the build schedule was on track even though we were on site infrequently. Pierce suggested/implemented new materials (windows, concrete additives) which increased our confidence that they are staying attuned to new technologies. We utilized their interior design team which was a very dynamic and responsive partnership and resulted in fantastic interior features that we could have never imagined without their input.

It was a terrific experience working with Steve and his team. We wanted to add closets and a window seat in our bonus room. After reaching out to several contractors, Pierce Design and Build was the clear choice. They responded quickly to my inquiries and they kept us well-informed throughout the process. Their design expert, Heather, had great ideas and suggestions. She really made our vision come to life. The project manager, Ryan, did a great job from beginning to end and finished the job a week earlier than they had estimated. We look forward to working with them again in the future.

We had Pierce builders help us with remodeling in our home several years ago. They did our tile backsplash in our kitchen, which turned out beautifully, and our tile flooring and carpet installation. We had some specialty requests on the flooring design, and they were more than accommodating, and it turned out amazing. More recently, we had them redo our entire basement after we had water problems. Again, they did a wonderful job. If I were in the market for a new custom home- I would definitely call Pierce Design and Build again. Mark Hains

Overall I’ve been impressed with Pierce. Estimates tend to be significantly higher than smaller competing contractors, but Pierce comes across as more professional and reliable than some others.

The start date got delayed almost a month. Then the final inspection was about one month after our contract said it would be. We did add a job that extended the time 1-2 weeks, but just goes to show you delays are par for the course with a remodel. These things happen.

In the end we are happy with what we did: adding a small bathroom and laundry inside what was an extra large bedroom. It has really impacted our daily quality of life in a positive way that makes all the remodel stress and cost worth it in the end. We learned that even with a good company remodeling is stressful. As owners you see every imperfection and reality is not like the magazine-worthy pictures you see on tv. We had to have them fix several things throughout the process, but they were always accommodating. They always took responsibility as appropriate. I’m not excited to remodel anything else any time soon, but I’d consider using them again if I did. Thanks Pierce Design and Build for your dedication and work.

Pierce Remodel is restoring my faith in contractors. We've had some bad experiences over the last few years that have made us very reluctant to engage contractors unless we absolutely have to do so. Pierce Remodel was terrific to work with. They are extraordinarily attentive and responsive and their workmanship is superb. I look forward to working with them again.

We recently had a bathroom remodeled by Pierce Design + Build. We had a really great experience from the design team to the project management and the installation. We are really happy with the outcome and we would highly recommend them for any project you have.

We picked Pierce Design + Build for our renovation/addition on our home after they were recommended by the concierge service through my work. Steve and Morgan are great people, and the first half of the project went well (our home is older and there were issues not anticipated in the beginning that they were able to find solutions to.)
However as the project went on and we neared completion communication became nearly non-existent or took almost a week to hear back. This was disheartening, as it often felt like we were forgotten or as if our concerns were no longer important.
The project was started in January 2020, and the majority of it was finished near the end of August 2020, however as of the writing of this review we are still waiting on a response for fixing a flooring problem that was caused by the work done.
The things that were done were done well, however the poor communication is what has led us to give them 2 stars in this review, instead of the 5 that would have been given if the attentiveness from the beginning of the project had persisted throughout.

EDIT: I have decreased the rating by a star because we are still waiting on the promised fix to our flooring issue. Communication has continued to be nearly non-existent and we are just now finding out that the flooring was lost and needs to be ordered again (when previously we were hoping to have it here, if not installed, in our home by the end of the month.)
FINAL EDIT: Flooring was installed in September 2021. They also fixed and issue where our front porch was not anchored to the house properly when it was put in in November 2021. Communication was still disappointing, but we are grateful it got done.

Steve did some tile work for us in our entryway and it looks great! I was really impressed with the work and especially the timing. I have found a lot of contractors to be terrible with their schedules and getting things done on time. He showed up right when they said they would and got it done on time (which was really important to us). I feel like he is very honest and professional, which isn't always easy to find. I totally recommend them!
