ZERO STARS. They still haven't completed a project they started in May 2023. Our shower pan failed in the master bath and they were recommended by our insurance. They didn't get around to fixing the shower until October 2023. It took the tile installer until Janurary to finish. He spent a lot of time outside on smoke breaks, which resulted in our having to run an air purifier in our bedroom because of asthmatics in our home. He would come everyday and stay until 6:00 or 7:00 PM. It would have taken the average tile layer a week to lay the tile, but it took him months of coming nearly every day! And the work is awful! (See attached photos.) And it wasn't even the right tile!!!! We let the project manager (Chris) know we were unhappy and he came and looked and agreed within a few seconds of looking at the tile work that they needed to redo the whole bathroom. That was March 2023. They promised they would get to it quickly since it had taken months to get the tile done. That was March and we haven't seen them. My husband calls and they tell him they got the tile instock and then we don't hear from them again. They do keep billing us, though, and we refuse to pay until they fix the job. Do NOT use this company; they will drag your project out and make you miserable, and then they will do an awful job. Any other company has got to be better. UDK has been an utter nightmare to work with. I'm going to the Better Business Bureau next, and I've let my homeowner's insurance know they recommended the worst company for the job.

UDK did an awesome job. This was an insurance claim and they took care of everything even dealt with the insurance for us so we didn't have to. The only problem was one of their drywallers wasn't doing their job and they replaced them which was a good thing. They brought in Jace. Well, I'll be honest, when I saw that he was younger, I got a little worried. Well, Jace went over and beyond and did a job better than I could have even imagined. He was very very professional, communicated to me when needed and was very clear. His skills were excellent and I knew if i had questions or concerns, he would answer them or take care of things. He is a great asset to you company!!! Thank you so much for taking care of us!

Alex and Connor were great! They showed up at 9PM after our basement flooded and immediately got to work assessing the situation. Their professionalism and friendliness put me at ease during a very stressful time. I was particularly worried about the water under our vinyl flooring, but having them there gave me peace of mind. Thanks to them, we now have dehumidifiers running in every room to thoroughly dry things out. I’m so grateful for their quick response and thorough work, and I’ll definitely recommend Utah Disaster Kleenup to anyone in need of urgent help!

Everyone we worked with at UDK was great! So professional, kind, and responsible. They made a really difficult situation so much easier and the work they did on the restoration is beautiful. They were so careful with our belongings, too. 5 stars all around!

Our basement flooded and we chose UDK to do the work. I'm happy with the repair work that was done. Unfortunately, the communication between UDK and my insurance (Bear River) has been awful. UDK has sent us multiple invoices for things that have already been paid almost a year after the fact. Getting them to actually work with and talk with Bear River has been awful. If you choose to go with UDK be prepared to receive invoices for deductibles 6+ months after the fact paid or not. Make sure you document everything, as I would hate to imagine what it would be like if I didn't track the payments I've already made.

Ricky, Alberto and Alex did a phenomenal job of taking care of the water damage in our home. They came early and stayed late trying to to get as much done as they possibly could the first day which gave our home a head start on drying out before mold could settle in.

Update... after finally getting people back out after writing ladt review they text about month later saying the basement is flooding and they had to tear out stuff cause of mold. They couldn't finish until flooding was taken care of.
Well, I finally got good competent plumbing company out to figure it out . They found problem. The subpump UDK installed had the drain system leading straight to my home. YES YOU READ THAT RIGHT! the plumbers took pics of the hose pouring water stain to my house. How incompetent can a restoration company be. So over it. I never yell but today I was yelling at the poor person who answered udk phone. That tells me... move on, find another co.pany to finish my project

Russell and Ricky were the best. Our house was flooded at 2am and they were there in no time. It was a bad situation turned a lot better when they arrived. They took over, told me and my wife to relax and they would take care of things. Can’t thank them enough for the late night house saving!
