Great quality, great communication, great installation.

Great communication when trying to decide size, color and design of the deck and pergola. Great commutation during the weeks leading up to the install, They were able to come out before I had the concrete slab poured and removed the old deck and put it the helical piles for the footings. Made my life much easier as I was trying to coordinate all the moving pieces.

During installation they were clean and didn’t destroy my yard. Only inconvenience was it took 5 days to install. But they were professional and communicated any issues that came up. I even joked that I am ready for the deck to be finished and before they left for the weekend they built make shift stairs for the dog and I to get on the backyard more easily. Which was much appreciated by my dogs and wife.

Deck Kings just finished replacing my large second story deck with a flight of stairs. They were the best price out of three timber tech approved contractors and superior to a few others I ruled out as those didn't appear to be off adequate quality or were overpriced for what they offered. Deck Kings used good quality materials and a full time crew with a sharp knowledgeable foreman (Vince). My neighbor worked many years in construction and after watching these folks work on my deck is thinking of having them do his. Another friend who is an engineer was similarly impressed. I'm not an expert, but am very pleased with the work, the materials and the people. They treated me extremely well. They took care of things and didn't charge me when dealing with extra things like having to replace my concrete pad at the base of the stairs or take out some fencing. No nickle and diming. These guys aren't afraid of work and are not out to gouge. They take the time to do it right. I expect I will enjoy this deck for decades with very little maintenance. They built it to really last, using the same infrastructure material used for marine applications. Their warranty says they will come fix things if something sags or has a problem in the coming five years, no charge. We're extremely pleased with this company. Jim B, cottonwood heights.

From the moment I contacted Deck Kings they were responsive and helpful unlike a number of other contractors I had tried prior.

The estimate and build time frames were very good with continuous communication on estimated build dates.

Once the project began I was more than pleased with the expertise, friendliness, and competence of the installation crew. Vince and Dylan are clearly skilled carpenters that pay attention to detail and quality work. I really appreciated that when they ran into a couple snags with the build, they identified the problem, created a solution and successfully dealt with it. At the end of each day the work area was clean and arranged for the next day. I can’t think of one thing that didn’t impress me during their time here. Great guys!!

I would and already have highly recommended Deck Kings to friends who are planning deck and patio projects.

I’m extremely satisfied with the entire experience from beginning to end. Great communication, fantastic can-do attitude, and very accommodating throughout.
Evan, Dylan, and Edson were extremely professional, polite, and respectful of my property. Issues that arose were identified and corrected without any difficulty and all were corrected completely. The professionalism of Ashlee and other members I worked with was exactly what I was looking for in a company I would be trusting with such a large endeavor and investment.

Working with Ben and Jeremy from design to conclusion of the deck being built was a very pleasant experience. The crew that was assigned to our deck project were very professional and was able to leave the dog in the backyard and they never missed a beat, and they cleaned up after themselves.

The quality of material used has been very durable and easy to wash and maintain.
