I’m speechless with the guys that came to our house this afternoon. I can’t even find the words to express my gratitude for Dave & Jesse.
We had flooding occurring in our sewer drain in our basement. After a couple days of shop vacuuming up about 600 gallons, we finally realized this issue is beyond our basic knowledge.
First of all, we reached out, and they came out quick. Super responsive and reliable.
Then, they assessed the situation, and immediately got to work. Then, once we realized this wasn’t just my water, but my whole neighborhoods flooding into my basement, Dave ran to the manholes near my house finding the clogged ones and cleaning them out from the street (the cities job). While he was doing that, Jesse was doing damage control in the bathroom where he was snaking the line, and trying his best to work FAST!
Unfortunately, the city didn’t do their job of clearing out the man holes. Dave told me that 2 of them were COMPLETELY FULL and they are 10ft deep about 1ft wide. So, my basement completely flooded with my neighbors crap.
I was really overwhelmed, and Dave completely just. Wow. He called Ogden city, explained the situation, got them on site. Called an AMAZING disaster cleanup and explained everything to them and got them to our home. He explained everything to me and my husband. He made sure we were okay, and understood everything that happened and how it wasn’t our fault.
He even stayed until the disaster cleanup crew came and the city to then help with any information they needed. Which, yeah, he also wrote down and documented everything to make our lives easier with insurance!!
Seriously. These guys went ABOVE AND BEYOND. GET YOUR PIPES SCOPED!!!!!! HIRE THEM!!!!

We had a main line backup into the utility closet and water start coming up through the floorboards. Our home warranty sent out Drain Tech and I’m happy they did. Our tech Jessie was knowledgeable and honest. He was able to snake through a clog and we were able to go back to business as usual.

Do yourself the biggest favor & don't call anyone else for your plumbing needs. Jesse was saving me money as soon as he walked through my door.

I had a lot of 'slow draining' happening in my home - so I looked the symptoms up on the internet. Consensus was a 'Main Sewer Line' cleanout was needed. Apparently, you're supposed to do this every 18-24 months and we've owned this home for 10 year - yikes!

NOPE. Jesse said that's not true, and that the most likely culprit is hair and debris clogs near the top of drains.

DrainTech could have easily sold me a lot of unnecessary services with big price tags: main line camera inspection + hydro jet + special chemical cleaner +... etc!

But they didn't. Jesse took a Durk's lawn flag, bent the end into a hook & went fishing for the clogs.
Was it disgusting? Yes. Was it the solution? Yes.
(and he gave it to me for future use, ewww -lol)

Also, he said never use Drain-O (or those other brands) ... but to use a product called "Maximizer DT Pro" - which I bought from him with no hesitation. The price was the same as I'd pay anywhere else - no personal mark up.

Jesse was knowledgeable, effective and honest. That's truly a rarity these days. Be smart, call this business and keep your hard earned $$ in your pocket.

Absolutely cannot recommend enough. Called drain tech for a clogged sewer line and within the hour they were at my house. Very professional, very proficient, efficient and very very reasonably priced. Will recommend them all day long to anyone who needs plumbing services.

We had a clog in our kitchen sink line and after a couple of hours trying on my own, we called drain tech. They were there about an hour after I called and had the drain unclogged within about 30 minutes. They don’t run the promotion like other bigger companies but they save you a ton of time and no sales pitch. Very friendly staff and super kind. I would go back over and over.
