Load Bearing Pros did an amazing job! We were told by 2 other contractors we would need visible beams to knock down our walls, but LBP managed to place 2 steel beams hidden inside the ceiling! Our house looks so open and bright now! They arrived promptly at 7.30am and had the job done by noon. They were extremely efficient, covered the entire house up with tarps so no dust was left anywhere. Highly recommend! See attached our before and after photos.

Hired Greg for a basement dig after the previous contractor botched the job. He came with his crew the next day to fix what the other contractor screwed up. His crew did an awesome job digging out a crawl space basement, pouring concrete and adding steel beams under my 100 year old home. They got the job completed on time and done right. I reached out to Greg at Load Bearing Pros to help remove a load bearing wall in my home for our kitchen remodel. I initially contacted Load Bearing Pros because of its good online reviews and it specialized in exactly what I needed. Greg was fantastic to work with. He came to our home quickly after our initial contact and gave us a bid. He stuck with the bid he provided even though it took another 4 months before we proceeded with construction. Greg’s employees were professional, kind, and clean and worked hard to finish the project as quickly as possible. They installed a large steel beam in my home which has opened up our home to build the open concept kitchen and living space we had been dreaming of. When we had concerns Greg spent the time addressing our concerns and making sure things were done to the best standard. Our project included a few additional items that needed to be done and Greg was fair in pricing the additional work. Overall, we are very pleased with the team at Load Bearing Pros. Greg was great to work with and was fair and honest every step of the way.

Working with Load Bearing Pros has been great. Honestly, it’s been fantastic. Our home in the Millcreek area has two projects with Greg and his team. The wall/beam project went excellent. Our second project coming up is an addition. We couldn’t be happier to have Greg doing the project soon.

Greg (owner) personally responded to my millions of questions. I never once felt like I was bothering him to ask follow-ups. I balance that with our experiences of many contractors who never returned calls are just disappeared from us. No questions, Greg was the best communicator and we’ve learned this has significant value when dealing with your home.

His workers did super work and were friendly people. Work was started at exactly the time we agreed. Wall removal caused less clean up than I imagined. The wall removal work looks great. Clean up was better than I had hoped.

I would recommend Load Bearing Pros to anyone looking for a home renovation project. There has been no point where I questioned what we were getting with Greg. I expected I will be back to give a 5-star review when our house addition project is completed.

We bought a home where the previous owners had replaced a load bearing wall with an undersized wooden beam that was already sagging in the middle. Greg and his crew tore out the old beam and replaced it with a new, properly sized, steel beam and shored up the support structure underneath it. Greg was very responsive when we had questions or concerns.
