We also had to deal with a Bad General Contractor and Engineering firm that failed to complete items on a build. Both would not help final the home. The Engineering Firm also had been paid in full but still refused to help on the final for the home. Watson Engineering was very helpful in reviewing the build and completing the items needed to complete the home for occupancy. They went above and beyond to help finish the home and complete all needed documents.

Strongly recommend Watson Engineering and really hard to find a company you can trust in a small community. You are limited with choices in Cedar City and Watson Engineering came through as requested and was upfront, honest and informative.

We can't say enough good things about Tim Watson!!! We have been through a nightmare with trying to finish our home in Cedar City after working with a builder who was fraudulently building here without a license. Tim helped us get our retaining wall approved that the city required for a TCO - at the end of our build because of problems created by our original builder. He didn't create the problem, but had the courage and compassion to work with us to get this done before our TCO ran out. Then he helped us get the final grading report that the city required for a Final Certificate of Occupancy. The original Engineering Company that worked on our house bailed out and refused to help us. Again, Tim stepped up and fulfilled the requirements by the city, and we received our CO the end of July. I wouldn't recommend any other Engineering company in Cedar City at this point. He was the only one to step up and do the right thing!

Watson Engineering has helped us with several project, including our subdivision. We have also used them for our rental home plans, lot line changes, mountain property development, and also questions regarding water development. They are easy to work with. Their response time is great and it is always what they say it will be, which I really appreciate in the construction world. Their ethics and expectations for their own work are high and refreshing. They get right back to you, and Tim will advise you with respect and clarity if he feels there will be concerns. They are extremely knowledgeable regarding specific building laws and ordinances in Cedar City, and in Iron County. I would highly recommend them as the premier engineering firm in Cedar City.

Avoid this company. Paid retainer, but they failed to complete the work. Their communication is terrible. Their customer service is even worse. And after waiting 15+ weeks and a wasted summer with zero results, I went with a different company.

Watson does a great job, I get the sense that they do big projects so if you are a smaller project expect to wait, but the waiting is worth it.
