I recently decided to move from the downtown Harbor East area. My apartment search was long and exhausting as I was adamant about fixing things I disliked about my previous apartment (i.e., inconsistent secure parking, lack of safety, high utilities, and etc).

I randomly discovered The Berkleigh after viewing an Avalon property in the area and couldn’t be more proud of my discovery. While I’m only one month into my lease, residing at The Berkleigh has been a breath of fresh air comprised of comforting and safe experiences. For starters, my apartment came pre-inspected, clean and equipped with eco-friendly cleaning products — I’ve never experienced a property providing me with anything beyond keys on move-in day. The Berkleigh’s inclusion of the cleaning products made me feel at home and helped me to avoid cleaning product expenses upon moving in.

Additionally, in my short time here, the management team has already hosted 5 events for residents to enjoy the community, bond with each other, and maximize their return on living at The Berkleigh. Beyond the events, however, there are a lot of amenities for residents to leverage as spaces to work remotely, unwind, and/or create new memories with loved ones (i.e., Business Center, Theater, Fitness Center, Game Room, Pool, a newly added little Library, and more).

Although my leasing experience began with the great Kirsten, the entire team has embraced my residency and made it clear they’re all happy to have me here. I’m excited to call this place home and cant wait to experience what else The Berkleigh has in store for residents throughout 2025 — perhaps you’ll begin your residency and join us!

I've lived at The Berkleigh for a long time—almost since it was first built—and it has truly felt like home. From day one, the staff here have been incredible. They go above and beyond to ensure residents feel welcomed, comfortable, and valued.

Whether it's the friendly greetings when seeing staff in my travels in the building, the prompt attention to maintenance requests, or the effort they put into making community events enjoyable, their dedication shines through. They genuinely care about the residents, and it makes all the difference.

The building itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers fantastic amenities, but it's the team here that makes The Berkleigh special. If you're looking for a place that feels like more than just an apartment—this is it!

It has been 4 months and I must say downsizing from
being a homeowner to apartment living was extremely
scary. I can honestly say that The Berkleigh Community
has made this move for me very easy transition. The
Resident are extremely friendly. The leasing office staff
especially Kirsten is very responsive and attentive. The
maintenance can use some improving with
communication, with that being said they have been
effective With fixing any issues we have had. Overall the
Community has been awesome to live in. We are looking
forward to the season change to give more reviews of
what it's like all year long,

Management and staff really care about the residents. When maintenance is called, they come really fast. The neighbor stays clean quiet and peaceful. I feel really comfortable here. I love my community! In the summer time the pool is open and is very nice which is a plus.

I moved in a little over a month. I downsized from a two-bedroom to a one-bedroom because apartment leasing prices have increased a lot since Covid. I wanted a one-bedroom with a den, but none was available.

The property is well-maintained and cleaned, well lit. Pretty much quiet during the quiet hours. I have not used all of the amenities, but I will slowly. I enjoyed my first community appreciation dinner twice.

I recommend the management company and its properties. I was considering three on my list when I selected The Berkleigh.

I have had a few problems with the technology. The staff has diligently been trying to correct it. My virtual door opener was working, but then it stopped. The resident portal was working now I can not sign in. In the meantime, I will let my guest in by going to the front door, where I will get my exercise in and pay in person until everything properly works.

I recommend The Berkleigh and Bozzuto Management Group.

Lived her for a year and a half. Starting our next lease and all is wonderful.
Love the amenities provided. Staff are helpful and always pleasant . The garage is fabulous during cold and rainy weather. The grounds are kept lovely and I enjoy walking my dog around the property. Pleasant living experience.
