This is what students of The Rambler in West Campus of AustinTX are dealing with. Late move in, black mold, A/C locked and set on fan only at 90 degrees, homeless in the attached coffee shop with access to student housing, zero personnel in charge of or maintaining mail or packages, propped and unsecured doors. When will this management step up and care for their tenants as was expected when leases were signed? This is wrong, unsafe and completely unacceptable.

My daughter lives at the new Rambler property and if I could give management zero stars I would! I do feel sorry for those trying to do damage control, but from the start this building has been a disaster! False advertising- have to fight for everything- they have promised me credits and I haven’t received them. I have called and emailed too many times to count- they won’t even call me back! I have tried and tried- thinking maybe this review will help get some resolution. How sad… they have over promised, under delivered, construction is horrible, problem after problem, the gym smells of sewage and there is no management response even with emergency situations. Do NOT live in a building they build or manage- you will regret it- smoke and mirrors!!!!!

I have made several phone calls to resolve a problem at my daughters apartment. Since the day her and her roommate have moved in there has been a horrific smell. Anytime
I have called the last week i have had NO RETURN CALL From management or from the owners. Today a maintenance reported that it was sewage problem which is toxic. HE said that the problem could not be fixed til November. I am highly disappointed. My daughter is staying with a friend on the couch til we can solve this situation.

Complete garbage!! Rambler ATX building is basically a breeding ground for black mold. Kids didn’t even live there 2 months before being told to go to a hotel due to water damage and mold. Managers are worthless! Daughter has been out of her apartment since before October 19th. Cannot enter apartment unless wearing a hazmat suit!

The builders of Rambler atx. Students were informed at the last minute that they would not be able to move in the weekend before classes began, displacing hundreds of students, many from out of town. These students remain unhoused at this time, one of whom is my own. It's unconscionable that they did not ensure their timeline left room for contingencies and then failed to notify students and families so that they had time to make other arrangements. At this time, they are offering the bare minimum in reimbursement for the expense of coming to Austin in anticipation of a move that never happened. Despite the fact that many of us are having to pay out of pocket for extended stays at hotels, storage and parking - none of the funds promised have been disbursed or credited to student accounts at this time. They are now promising move in by the 26th of August - almost a week after classes began but I will believe it when I see it. I would avoid staying at any of the properties managed by this company. It's very clear that the well being of their residents is not a top priority.
