My husband and I closed on our Lacrosse Home in Dec '17. Overall, I will say the experience went smooth-ish, as much as a new build does. We have had very minimal issues as well and have been happy, until April 2025, when a gutter repair company noticed my roof was rotting. I called a roofing company and they identified all the issues that have existed since the house was built. Somehow, this passed inspection, but I should have hired my own inspector. I spoke with Loretta from Lacrosse this morning to address this issue, and I have to say, she is extremely aggressive. Within the first minute of explaining what has happened, she cut me off and said "I'm sorry, we're not paying for that! THIS CONVERSATION IS OVER!" Woah, wait, what? I could see if I came at her with an attitude, she'd reciprocate, but I was very calm and pleasant. I tried to explain that this was damaged during installation, and she kept cutting me off. They stand by their contractors, and refused to acknowledge any shoddy workmanship. She said I should have caught it during the walkthrough at closing. Huh? I didn't get on the roof during the walkthrough, so how could I have known Listen, the builder hires these contractors to build and complete these homes. This is just as much on them, as it is the hired contractors. The aggressive behavior today was beyond unprofessional, and being a business owner myself, I'd never EVER speak that way to a client. And to Lacrosse, Loretta, and to future buyers, I have attached photos (since no one asked to see them) and my estimated cost. Come on, it's a $950 repair that I SHOULD NOT be responsible for! You should do the right thing, stand behind your work and cover the cost, but you won't. And Loretta, please, dial it back when you're conversing with clients. It's very off putting. Always remember, bad news travels faster than good news. And reviews go a long way.

Couldn’t be happier with our experience with Lacrosse homes. Not only do we love the house but we love the people we met at Lacrosse along the way. They were straightforward and honest, communicated well throughout the process, and delivered on everything they promised. Great business that I would highly recommend.

Loretta is the worst person to speak to. She is so demeaning and rude! I have never been treated with so much contempt, especially when I’m dealing with our insurance. You can’t deny someone access to their work order.

A brand new home that has leaked repeatedly! And then I was told that it wasn’t that bad?!? When it leaks after being “fixed” twice means it is that bad.

She actually called me a bad name to my husband then denied to answer his call the second time. Absolute horrible customer service!

Please spare yourself the headache and do not give Lacrosse Homes your money or business. Long story short, I’ve been trying to get them to fix my leaking windows since January. I received a very nice voicemail from the owner and I was hopeful then that it would get done in a timely manner. After no further word from the owner after his voicemail, I called the office and was told I could not speak with him and had to instead speak with the office manager. Since then, I’ve been dealing with Kristen…who gives excuse after excuse. For the last few months, I’ve been trying to get a hold of her, leaving several messages on the main office line and her direct extension. A few weeks ago, the receptionist answered my call and once I told her who I was, she hung up on me. Now I can’t seem to get a hold of anyone. I wouldn’t put it past them to field my call because now, it goes directly to the voicemail. I just can’t believe how poorly this company treats people. I also have been speaking with my neighbors who have the same experience as me. Please do not give them your business.

Lacrosse homes does not care about their customers at all. Once they make their money off you, they won’t follow through with you on anything. They offer a one-year inspection to fix any issues, but brush you off and give you the runaround to make scheduling the repairs extremely difficult to near impossible. The construction of our home in general is below acceptable quality. We have walls that are completely bowed, tile work that is mis-matched and not what we asked for, and certain design requests were never given to us, even though they promised they would be included.

Good luck ever trying to get a hold of someone fromLacrosse to speak with because they never answer their phones or respond back to emails. You will have to constantly contact them for several weeks before you even have someone acknowledge you for five seconds.

Do yourself a favor and take your hard earned money somewhere else to save yourselves a world of frustration and disappointment!!

We entered into a new construction on a home and we are 80% complete.
We understand the challenges with permits and materials, that they can be somewhat delayed through no fault of the builder. So far, they have been upfront with the delays. All of our questions and concerns have been answered promptly and professionally. We are looking forward to moving into our new home. Will write another review upon final completion.

I entered into a new construction deal on a home, we are 90% finished and I mustcsay thus far I've been met with nothing but utterly professionalism by sales team and the construction staff. I would recommend this company to any and all. I have also recommend them to close family and friends. I'll write another review upon the completion of my new home . Stay tuned 😉
