They caused over $50,000 of damages to my home by breaking my sewer line and causing my home to flood. Then they waited 17 days to file an insurance claim.

These people came to do work at my neighbors house. They entered my backyard with out my permission & they busted my neighbors gas line so there was a massive gas leak for an hour ! They were nonchalant about it & didnât even call the authorities. I had to call 911! Just horrible & dangerous service.

The absolute worst. I needed my gas meter relocated and unfortunately CenterPoint contracts this out to Digco so it was not my choice to use them. They called me on a Wednesday afternoon saying they would be out the next day to move the meter and I needed to have a plumber come out before that to disconnect the line providing gas to my house or else the Digco tech would just leave- weird. So I had less than 24 hours to get a plumber to come out. I did manage to do that, but no one from Digco ever showed up that afternoon to move the meter and no one called.
So then they show up the next morning, relocate the line, and say a Digco meter tech will come out later that day to reconnect the meter as the final step. 7 hours later the meter tech shows up and tells me that the guys there earlier that morning incorrectly took the regulator with them and he didnât have one he could use so the ticket needed to go back to CenterPoint for them to reconnect the meter. This is now Friday evening (2 full days without gas) and CenterPoint only takes emergency cases on the weekend so I have to wait until Monday to try this nightmare all over with CenterPoint. Absolute incompetence. Oh and Mandy in the office only works until 3:00 so you canât even get in touch with anyone to get any solutions or answers. Digco just doesnât even try to have good customer service bc they are under contract with CenterPoint.

I've called a couple of times on residential gas kill order and Nicole has always been very helpful and responsive.

Looks like I'm experiencing the same thing most of the other commenters have experienced. They didn't contact me prior to changing the gas line over to the new main like they said they were going to because I wasn't going to be home at the time. They claimed they could do it without having to enter my house, but that was a lie. Then I was given the run around when I asked them to turn my gas back on on a Saturday claiming they don't do work on Saturdays. Poor customer service and the work they did is a mess. 100% recommend everyone prevent them from accessing your gas meter to do work unless you are present. Because of them, I've been waiting around my house all day over 9.5hrs waiting for someone else to come by to turn back on my gas so I can do laundry, run my dishwasher, cook dinner and take a hot shower.

They installed my gas meter for Center point. 4 other contractors gave me the runaround. One said we had to cut out part of our deck to install a new gas meter! This guy did it fast with only a pipe wrench. It was fast, he was professional, and I was happy. That deck story was a lie. Digco checked all the appliances properly and it took less than 25 minutes. Digco saved the day!
Thank you

They dug a hole in my back yard in November. It's now April. The hole is still there with pipes coming out of it. I wasn't home when they entered my back yard but my security cameras picked them up. No idea why the hole was dug or why they have not returned. My fence is damaged and one of my dogs fell in the hole.

Digco is contracted by CenterPoint energy to turn on the gas at my new address in Houston. Within one week I have taken off time from school and work to wait almost 12 hours for Digco to show up â and Iâm still waiting.
To make matters worse, the automated phone system CenterPoint uses to let people know the technician is nearby does not work: it ends calls pre-maturely due to background conversation, and it will say a technician tried to visit the property when no one was present (which is not true).
Today I spoke to Terrell at CenterPoint immediately after their automated phone system said the technician had visited, and Terrell said that must have been an error because he called and confirmed that Jamie from Digco is still scheduled to be at my address today by 12:00 PM (it is 11:24 AM as I am posting this comment).
Today is the third attempt I have given CenterPoint energy to turn on my gas, and I will remain street-side in my car for the full 4-hour window, however at this rate (with 36 min remaining in that 4-hour window) I do not expect their contractor, Digco, to arrive.
After the second attempt, a CenterPoint representative was able to correctly share the color of my addressâs front door from a technicianâs supposed comment, and stated that the technician could not gain access. However, we were home, we did not hear any knock, and we could not find any slip of paper stating there was an attempt to access the gas meter. There was no slip of paper during the first attempted visit (when we were home), not during the second attempted visit (when we were home), and as I am waiting on the street currently for almost four hours now (only 36 min left in their time window) I do not anticipate there will be any visit at all.
I do not say this lightly, but I believe that CenterPointâs automated phone system and Digcoâs technicians are either incredibly error-prone or simply lying. I think that Digcoâs technician either drove by without stopping or looked up our doorâs color on Google Maps
This incompetence from CenterPoint and Digco is beyond ridiculous and has robbed me of time that I could have been spending with family, earning money, and completing schoolwork.
