Jay would be one of the best first time buyer agent you can find! Although being a first time buyer, I have originally worked with two other agents in nyc area but Jay is definitely the one I would recommend in MD! I found Jay via Zillow and was looking for someone who knows the area, has great reviews and speaks Cantonese. Was not disappointed! First off, I was looking to close within two months, and Jay accommodated my time no matter if showings were done virtually or in person. I would estimate a total of 20 properties he showed me within one month! He does not only ensure me as a buyer know each property's pros and cons, but also provided his personal experience in certain neighborhoods, and recommendations since he has multiple years of experience. Throughout the process he has helped a lot including some general mortgage and contract explanations he was able to answer me. He is also extremely responsive in all the requests which is important in the current market. On top of that, he also pointed out some tactics on when is best time submitting offers and negotiate down prices etc. At the end, I was able to find a place under budget, and closed early, and I will definitely be finding Jay again when I am ready for an upgrade.
