The concierge is friendly and responsive, and the property manager, Ashley is always straight to the point while being super nice. The amenities are great – from the beautiful pool to the well-equipped fitness center. Maintenance is always prompt, and the location is perfect – close to everything but still peaceful. It truly feels like home, and I highly recommend this complex to anyone looking for a great place to live!

I've been living at the Six for about 3 months now and wanted to write a review on how its been. Overall, I do recommend this as a place to live. However, there are some things to consider for your own personal circumstances.

The good:
- The building is recently constructed. This means everything looks fresh, clean, and new. This also means that you may be the first person to live in the apartment and don't need to worry about what the previous tenant was doing.
- The amenities are of good quality. The gym, lounge, yoga studio, and courtyard are all very nice. In the later part of the spring the rooftop pool will also be opening.
- The staff are very friendly, positive, and willing to help. Times in which I have needed assistance or maintenance have been promptly responded to. I would definitely recommend talking with them if you're curious in hearing more about the property. Ashley and Eddie have been very receptive, attentive, and helpful.
- The location is close to numerous shops, grocery stores, and it is directly across the street from a Metro Stop.
- There is a private parking garage with two doors that must be gotten through which makes me feel very safe about my car and anything inside it.

The bad:
- The building is definitely "new" in the regards that some of the features in my apartment are quite cheap or improperly installed. The doors are very thin and frail, some electrical features weren't working when I first moved in, and the appliances don't really fit into the walls or fit flush with the cabinets. Compared to most places, this is still very high quality, and the staff has been very helpful with dealing with these issues. Just know that it may not be "perfect" upon move in.
- Lots of things have been offloaded to 3rd party groups for management. The application and lease signing process will have you going through numerous portals, companies, and other websites in order to live here.
- The complex boarders some restaurants, bars, and the local community college. As such, there is constantly people throwing on their hazards and blocking the nearby roads. It is not uncommon to have to wait for 5+ minutes to reach the parking garage because cars have blocked both directions with their hazards on to go inside one of the nearby locations.
- Lastly, its PG county, there is definitely hard water coming through the building for the taps, showers, washing machines etc. You'll need to invest in some filters and britas in order to be a little more comfortable.

These are just some things that I would have found helpful before moving in. I think with time a lot of the rough patches will smooth over as the apartment becomes more seasoned. Overall, its a great place to live and I would recommend it to anyone interested.

Although the building was very nice, great amenities and the tour I received from the leasing agent went well, I had a very disappointing experience with this apartment complex during the application process. I applied for a unit, was approved, and even paid a holding fee—only to later find out that the unit I applied for had not actually been available for two weeks. No one proactively communicated this to me. I only found out after I reached out myself, a week later, to check on the status.
While I understand that miscommunications can happen, I was told the unit was available both during my tour and again when I applied online. After receiving approval, I expected a clearer next step or at the very least a timely update. Instead, I was presented with alternative units I didn’t care for and asked to come back in to tour. I mentioned that I would not be available to tour the units due to being out of town for a considerable amount of time, I requested a video of the available units instead but again received no response.

After another week of silence, I emailed to cancel my application. At that point I was extremely frustrated with the process and lack of attention to the matter despite mentioning I would need to advise my current apartment on my plans to not resign. That email also went unanswered until a week later. At that point, I had no confidence in their professionalism or customer service.

When I finally spoke to a manager, there was no real acknowledgment or apology for the multiple miscommunications and delays. The entire process felt unwelcoming, disorganized, and dismissive of my time.

Apartment hunting is stressful enough without being left in the dark after taking the time to apply, pay a fee, and follow up repeatedly. I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone looking for a smooth or responsive leasing experience.

If I could give 0 stars .. I would. The units/amenities were nice, but I saw a roach in one of the cabinets. The property manager is never available. The one leasing consultant they have is unknowledgeable about the property and rudely unprofessional ... she was taking personal calls during my tour, did not know where any of the units were, and showed me units that were currently under maintenance. OH AND there was a non tenant sleeping in the lounge during the tour, with his belongings spread out all over the room. Despite the cons, I tried multiple times to contact prior to applying and unfortunately the same leasing consultant answers with an attitude and promises a call back that I never get. But this lead me to leasing at a much nicer property with great customer service and in a better location!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Six Apartment community where the staff truly made a difference in my experience. Teira, Ashley, and Eddie were all incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive, going above and beyond to assist me with my needs. They took the time to answer all my questions, provide detailed information, and ensure that I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. Their professionalism and kindness really stood out, making my visit feel warm and welcoming. It's rare to come across a team that works so seamlessly together to create such a positive environment. I highly recommend this place, not just for its wonderful facilities, but also for its amazing staff who make you feel like part of the community from the moment you walk in!

The whole apartment is a major scam. I toured and applied back in October. I was working with Brooklyn, who seemed really nice. Unfortunately, Brooklyn left the company during the process. The ball was completely dropped following her exit. After several calls, emails, and verbally being told I was approved; ultimately, I never received an official welcome letter or lease. I was asked to resubmit my bank information and declined because it was already submitted and told that my income was verified. Resubmitted personal information after such an egregious breakdown in communication did not sit right with me.

I am now receiving emails saying that I have a move out fee for a unit I was never approved for and never lived in. How does someone owe a security deposit for a unit they never moved in to and toured 3 months ago.

Beautiful building, I wish the units were larger, also wish they weren’t trying to scam people.

Best,
Brittany
