I lived in downtown commons 2 from August of 19' to May of 21'. Units were nice looking. That's about all the good there is. Otherwise you can hear your neighbors through the paper-thin walls and if anyone is above you then you'll hear the foot steps all day with the sub par flooring they installed. It got to the point where you can hear just normal walking. They don't want people with children living there. God forbid your child actually plays in their room. You'll have noise complaints constantly. They don't care about their self described "quiet time" as even if your making normal foot traffic noise during the day you will still get complaints about being too loud. All in all if you have children, especially young ones then I would not even attempt to rent from here. If your looking for a nice apartment to hang your coat in and put your shoes at and barely occupy it then this is your place.

Wow! Having just moved here from Pennsylvania, I couldn't be happier with my new apartment at Downtown Commons! It is the perfect location and very modern with a great balcony. The office manager, Sandy could not have been nicer to work with over the phone. She expedited my application and met me at the apartment on a Sunday for move in. Also love the hardwood floors!

Bad customer service. The receptionist that works for Mote is not friendly and uninviting. Has no customer service skills. Mote management discriminates if you are struggling financially. They claim people who live at their apartments have "important jobs" while their receptionist looks like she does meth and her husband/boyfriend is just a painter. Neighbors have complained of the cigarette smoke because they are both like chimneys constantly smoking that neighbors can't enjoy having windows and doors open because of the cigarette smoke coming into their apartment. A neighbor/tenant is also not able to renew her lease because of late rent, but rent has always been paid within the month of the rent. She just had a baby and her baby was at children's for a week. And now is being forced to moved out regardless if they have a place to move to or not. Mote only cares about your money. You're just a rent check to them.

I’ve lived here since 2012 and have had no issues. I called for a leaking faucet and came home to a brand new Moen faucet. No mess, no fuss on my part. One simple phone message. The Management is prompt, courteous, and thorough and I highly recommend Mote Management!

I called and emailed about the apartments and all they sent was a link to their website, which has very limited information, no pictures of the property, no information on availability. They said to call to set up an appointment for viewing, so I called left a voicemail and didn't hear back for a few days. When the lady did call back, she said she didn't know when she'd be able to show any apartments or what was available. Very clueless and poor customer service. Not somebody I would want to rent from.
