I had a couple quotes, and Tar Heel was by far the most personable. I spoke with Dalton, and he told me exactly what goes into a roof repair and the replacement process. Not only were they able to install sooner than all the other companies, but they also came in at the fairest price. I would highly recommend this family owned company. They were super responsive and I could not be happier with the finished product!

Met with Dalton at the Timonium home show. What a great guy. I was interested in possibly doing some new siding on my home and these guys are the best. They came out and gave us a fair and honest quote for the project. Turns out the quality of the product and the price were phenomenal. The guys did a great install and clean up. Couldn't be happier with everything. I highly recommend these guys!!

I am incredibly pleased with my experience with Tar Heel Construction Group! From start to finish, the team was not only professional but also friendly and welcoming. They made me feel like part of the family, which was such a comforting feeling, especially after just purchasing my home. My roof was in desperate need of replacement, and while that can be a stressful situation, the team at Tar Heel made the process seamless. Despite dealing with freezing temperatures and snowstorms, they were out to me as quickly as possible, and I was amazed at how efficiently they completed the job in less than a day!
The finished result is a beautiful new roof that I absolutely love. Though there were some challenges with debris clean-up due to the snow before and after the replacement, they were quick to return and ensure everything was taken care of, which I truly appreciated. I’m looking forward to working with Tar Heel Construction Group again for any future maintenance. Highly recommend them for their dedication, professionalism, and outstanding service!

Josh Price, and his crew at Tar Heel Construction were incredible to work with during the process of putting a new roof on our house. They were professional, punctual, and thorough in their work. Josh communicated with me throughout the process from beginning to end and was transparent every step of the way. The crew was hard working, polite, and detail oriented in the process and clean-up. Last year, a rather large home in my neighborhood with many roof lines and gables was having its roof replaced. I sat on the sidelines and watched the entire process unfold knowing someday it would be my turn. I knew nothing about Tar Heel other than the sign on my neighbor's lawn. After doing my homework, everything I read and witnessed 1st. hand, including yet not limited to their professionalism and team work, sealed the deal.
I can't say enough good things about my salesman, Brian. Any questions, concerns or contractual agreements, were addressed to my satisfaction immediately or within hours. Brian won my trust and got the ball rolling.
The project manager Jamie and his crew of 6 perhaps, were amazing. From 6:45am, with 1 hr. lunch break, until the end of day, they worked non stop. Their days were long but always pleasant and cheerful. Removing old shingles, replacing plywood, and all the rest that goes into installing a new roof takes practice, strength and incredible skill. Their use of safety ropes was impressive...like watching poetry in motion!
Big jobs can be messy, yet at the end of each day, the crew did a thorough clean-up.
Tar Heel stands behind their word and exceeded my expectations. I definitely recommend them.

Excellent experience, Tar Heel does great work. After getting two quotes for our leaking roof, we sought out a third opinion from Tar Heel. Matt came out a day later, did a thorough assessment, then clearly went over his findings and answered all my questions. Turns out, only a few repairs were needed, essentially saving me around $25K. One company demanded a full roof replacement, but after hearing what Tar Heel was suggesting, it was a no-brainer. Roof was fixed just days later, and I could not be happier. Friendly, professional and great communication from the company!

Tar Heel recently replaced the roof on one of our rental properties. They did a great job. Their customer service is amazing. They sent us a brochure ahead of time letting us know what to expect the day of replacement. We were kept up to date on when the crews were going to show up. The yard was cleaned up well. My primary point of contact was Josh Price who was extremely professional and courteous in explaining every detail regarding the roof replacement and remained in contact with me from beginning to end.
