GJB Engineering has been a blessing to work with. Greg Budnik absolutely is the best Engineer to have our site plan designed and approved by Fairfax County. We had an inground pool built this past year, and he was able to make the daunting task turn into a reality. Greg has the answers for the toughest of questions, and he will help guide you from start to finish. GJB put together our Conservation Plan for Fairfax County. Greg and his team were very responsive and put together a plan that quickly went through the County's approval system. After all of the horror stories associated with planning and permitting, I was shocked how well it went. This was made possible by the excellent quality of our plan. The cost was very affordable especially compared to what everyone was telling us what to expect to pay.

I have been working with GJB Engineering to submit Conservation Grading Plan to Fairfax county for my pool project. Greg and team where easy to work with. My project had unseen obstacles GJB engineering was able to propose solutions the optimized timelines and minimal expensive. They do an excellent job, punctual, great communicators, extremely knowledgeable in Fairfax County Codes and procedures. GJB engineering also has the most competitive rates I could find searching for engineering firms in Northern Virginia area. I can speak from my experiences they saved me $3,000-$5,000 and kept my project moving forward. I look forward to using them again. I highly recommend!

I cannot speak highly enough about GJB Engineering. Greg and his team really know their stuff, they are responsive, professional and incredibly helpful. Greg wrote a conservation plan to submit to Fairfax County in order to get my pool permit, and in the end not only did it save me thousands, but it allowed me to get the larger pool I was hoping for. Greg knew how the county would likely respond and he went to bat for me, getting the permit approved within a day. There's no way I would have know how to handle those logistics without him as it's practically a foreign language. If I ever have another need for an engineer, I know who I will call!

I was told by another engineer I would need a full grading plan for my pool project in Fairfax County. Thankfully, I called Greg for a second opinion. He saved me at least $6k in costs and probably 2 months of time by getting my project approved under a conservation plan. He is an expert at finding ways to make your project conform to the requirements of a conservation plan and navigating the county permitting process. The plan was approved without a single comment/question from the county and I had approval 28 days from the date I contracted GJB. I couldn’t believe it….I had been warned by my pool builder and others to expect nearly 3 months for engineering plan design and iterations of county review. Can’t recommend GJB enough.

Greg and team were awesome to work with throughout the entire process of designing the conservation plan for a pool in NOVA. Tremendous value and experience in navigating the issues with the county and also getting insight into some options the designer wanted us to sign off on that was not necessary resulting in about 10k worth of savings.
