They had me pay two months rent security deposit (over $2000) and when I moved out they sent a bogus itemized sheet of “repairs” they did that conveniently added up to exactly the amount of my deposit, with stuff like $500 for painting the walls and $800 for cleaning up the yard. This was after the guy came and did a walkthrough with us and told us everything looked great and we should expect our deposit back in full.

Do not give these people your money. We put down a 5% deposit in March 2017 for a townhouse development they were supposedly building. We were told the property would be built by around Jan/Feb 2018. For the whole time we were waiting, they told us that permit delays were holding up the beginning of construction. Around Sep 2017, Evanlee (contact for the property) stopped returning any of our emails. Come Oct, still not receiving any responses, our realtor found out their funding had fallen through so that was the real issue. We never received any explanation or response from Sight Real Estate, our agent had to follow up with Evanlee multiple times before they finally sent us a cancellation letter, still no explanation or apology. After nine months of them holding on to our money, with nothing to show for the wait, we're getting our money back and moving on from this terrible experience. This company is not fit for business, do not trust them with your money.

If I could rate this company a ZERO, I would do it a thousand times. Michael Rivera, who is VP of Operations for this company, screwed us over when it came to getting our deposit back. We moved into our rental house with the house flooded, disgusting, words written on the counter tops, holes in the wall, different paint covering SOME of the holes in the walls, & no screens on our windows and they have the audacity to take our $1500 deposit at the end our lease and say we even OWE them money so they can paint the entire interior of this house, replace all floorboards, and a ton of other stuff that they want to do, because they can. Absolutely THE WORST service throughout our ENTIRE year lease and now, even 3 months after moving out, I am still having to deal with him. Getting a lawyer to say the least.

I rented a property at 4211 West North A Street in Tampa had a wonderful experience. The apartment had been recently renovated and it was perfectly located to everywhere you would want to go in the South Tampa area. Kris made sure everything was ready for my arrival and was on the premises weekly to ensure a pleasant experience for the tenants in the building. There were hardly any issues with the apartment while I was there but when something arose Kris was quick to get the issue resolved. Upon move out I made sure the apartment was in the same condition as I moved in with and in return I received my full deposit immediately. I would most defitinitely contact Kris again if I was ever in the market for a Tampa rental again. I do not understand the sub par rating for sight real estate as a whole as my experience with them was nothing short of excellent.

My home has zero insulation, a mold issue, and my ac unit has been broken since I moved in. Brad has been promising my roommates and I that things will be done, and we have only gotten empty promises.
I am currently not able to stay in my own home due to a severe mold allergy.
Our electric bill was nearly 400$ two months in a row due to air conditioning malfunction which TECO said was 100% fault of the housing structure (I have documents also shared with sight reality).
DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY.

Dealing with Sight Real Estate was a breeze. They handled the build of my client's home wonderfully. If you're in the market for a real estate company that will guide you through the purchase process, especially for a new construction property, I could not recommend them enough.

After answering 10+ questions just for prescreening to visit a rental property, they stopped responding after learning I have a roommate. If rent is paid on time and background checks are clear this shouldn't be an issue. Very unprofessional to just stop responding, but from reading the other reviews I'm not surprised. I guess it's a good thing they didn't reply, I would not want to do any business with this company.

You know, I really wish I had read the prior Google reviews on this company before getting into business with them. The fact that I am seeing these poor ratings for the first time CERTAINLY validates my thoughts about Sight Real Estate.

My boyfriend and I put a deposit on a townhouse unit that was going to be constructed and completed this year. Submitted the deposit in February, with expected construction start date in April. After a revision of the floor plan, of course that pushed back construction. Ultimately, it is now almost November and the project was cancelled due to the developer's rejected financing. THIS is *NOT* the issue I am referring to. THE ISSUE LIES WITH THE ENTIRE TEAM OF SIGHT REAL ESTATE. Evanlee, Michael, and Thomas.

Now, had this review been written prior to April of 2017, I would have given them ALL, especially Evanlee, rave reviews for their level of service they provided as a team. She was our main point of contact for ANY questions we had relating to the project, and she was phenomenal about responding! Text, call, email...she was prompt and friendly.

THEN SHE MADE A COMPLETE 180. I was initially led to expect one level of service from Sight, but basically after they secured our "Earnest Deposit", they do NOT give a DAMN about you.

MONTHS of NO response, NO replies to texts, emails OR calls. It's like she dropped off the face of the planet. WHERE DID THE CUSTOMER SERVICE GO? WHERE DID THE COMMUNICATION GO? I was even promised once via email by the PRESIDENT of Sight, Michael Mincberg, that he "will make sure to be in better communication going forward." The next time we tried to reach out, it was FOUR DAYS before we received ACKNOWLEDGEMENT in any way, and his reply was SHORT and SMUG. I'm not even sure how they run a business with the way they handle communication to customers.

WHERE IS THE PROFESSIONALISM?

If they hadn't gone "ghost" on us, this review wouldn't have been written. If they were timely with responses, EVEN IF THERE WAS NO NEWS TO REPORT, it would've been a completely different story here. If THEY took initiative to reach out to THE CUSTOMER before THE CUSTOMER worried, it would've been a completely different story here.

I was so close to securing an attorney with these people, fearing that we were being scammed. To reiterate, they will be AWESOME at responding to you BEFORE THEY RECEIVE YOUR DEPOSIT!! Once they've got your money, who cares right I've WASTED the last NINE months with my hopes invested in this company and their team. I WILL NEVER, EVER, attempt to buy a home through them again and will NEVER recommend them to anyone. Extremely frustrating to deal with this phony group of so-called "professionals" who IGNORE your calls/emails and give you nothing but the runaround. It was a blessing in disguise that this project fell through, because if I ever saw any of them in person I would not be able to stop myself from ripping them all a new one.

Save yourself a LOT of heartache, please. Don't make the same mistake we did.
