After 11 years it was time to move out of my house outside of Waldorf. However, I had a few complications to overcome before it could be put on the market which I could not handle. Additionally, this was my first house I was selling and wasn’t as educated on the nuances of the process. Luckily for me Ellwood knew how to handle my complications with ease. Satisfied Seller! That's me! There are 4 things about Reid that supports why I gave 5 stars. First, when I contacted him, he didn't just list my home and run. Reid provided a strategic marketing plan and along with a documented comparable listing to suggest the optimal list price. He also suggested focus points for corrections before listing. Second, Reid used a professional photographer for the ultimate presentation of our home. Result - our home was listed, had offers and a contract in exactly one week. Third, Reid thoroughly reviewed and explained the offers, advising what was advantageous and what was not. He negotiated an awesome rent back situation to meet our relocation needs. Fourth, Reid is very detailed and great at follow up and follow through. Prior to closing, he consistently stayed on top of a pressing matter with the buyer's lender which he escalated to the lender's leadership. Reid also provided remote closing on my behalf because I was overseeing movers and not able to leave. In addition, I dropped the ball on a final action to close out my post-settlement. I was in route to my new out of state home but Reid handled it! Face it, there are countless folks who have real estate licenses, but you have research to identify who has the experience, knowledge, professional polish and commitment to provide unparallel service. Ellwood is an absolute professional that is highly capable and exceedingly knowledgeable. He managed our property for 8+ years and then walked us through the process of selling our house. As we were living out of state, it was critical that the property manager could truly ensure that the property was well-maintained and that repairs were made swiftly.
