Phil is beyond the perfect real estate agent. He is an exceptionally talented and knowledgeable real estate agent, and I would say he could have a future as a home inspector with all his experience and intelligence. Phil has a natural born obligation to his clients best interest that he demonstrated time and time again to me. The whole time I was writing with Phil, he made me feel like I was his only client.

I started working with Phil about 3 years ago, right when buying a house was all but unattainable. I was a difficult client, in that I had a very specific type of house I wanted and I was on a budget that was hard to match as the housing prices skyrocketed. Despite the uphill battle, Phil stuck with me for years and happily put more work and effort into helping me find my dream home than most agents would put into 10 clients.

Throughout the search, Phil must have drafted over a dozen offer letters for me. As we viewed each home, I saw that Phil was impressively knowledgeable about potential problems, as he accurately predicted every issue that came up during inspection. We went under contract a few times, and, unfortunately, unfixable problems with septic and well systems forced us to back out. During these inspections, it was very clear to me that Phil was protecting my best interest and would not let me go through with a house that would eventually lead to my financial ruin, no matter how desperate I was. In hindsight, I’m so glad I took all of his advice. Through all the heartbreak and discouragement, Phil was an absolute rock and assured me that the perfect house was out there.

Now for the happy part- I had my eye on a house that was just barely within my budget. Not surprisingly, within an hour the house had an offer that was 30k over asking. After a few days, the buyers backed out due to septic issues and the house was on the market again. I’ll never know how he did it, but somehow Phil got the sellers to accept my much lower offer and install a completely new septic tank! Finally, after all those years, Phil made the buying process an absolute breeze, he took care of everything and all I had to do was show up and sign a few papers.

It’s been a few months since we’ve been settled in our new home. Phil regularly checks up on us to make sure everything is good. He also saved our lives when we had issues with our insurance company- once again he assured us it was no big deal and fixed our problem for us.

Phil is truly a man of remarkable character. He carries himself with the highest level of professionalism and industry knowledge. I’m so grateful to have had the pleasure of working with him for all those years, and happy to have him as a friend for many years to come.
