We were contracted to complete a job for this company at Federal Manor Apartments located in Federalsburg Md. The point of contact was Spencer Leech. We did all the work and provided the C/O, they owe us our last draw and Spencer has stopped responding to emails and final payment request. To all contractors be careful.

Recently relocated to Frederick MD. My place was old without any updates. Got used parts when maintenance issues occurred. Constantly sweeping the breezeway from tons of leaves, bugs and debris. But I need to give a special shoutout to the newest office personnel, Kathy and Lexi. Kathy was very efficient and professional. I was extremely amazed in how quickly I received my security deposit back! I hope they’re able to keep her there. She gets it done!!

If you or anyone you know has been experiencing issues with them and no one will listen please don’t hesitate to report Severn and the apartment complex that you live at to the CONSUMER PROTECTION DIVISION!!! They will help you. YOU HAVE A VOICE!! Don’t think that you don’t. The more people that report them the deeper an investigation will go. Report them quickly. Don’t wait or hesitate. Do it without telling them as well. REPORT, REPORT, REPORT!!!!!

This has to be one of the worse apartment complexes I have ever lived in. They harassed me and my 4 year old autistic child. They called the cops got cps involved I would get a complaint everyday only being there less then 2 months. I asked the property manager at Bensons corner can she accommodate my autistic son because of him always playing in water and jumping and yelling stuff I can’t control she told me she don’t think they will and continued to harass me with complaints for stuff I couldn’t control I asked to be moved to a lower level they refused they never even let me see my apartment until my move in date 03/31/24 if I would’ve known it wasn’t on the first floor I would’ve told them to give me the first floor they threw that place together and blaming me for them being cheap. I got a notice to quit 06/14/24 because they failed to patch up my bathroom floor.

Wish I could do 0 stars this will be the 2nd time that I've had to call the city on crusader arms Apts in cambridge, md. This is the only way they'll actually do their job. I won't hesitate this time especially since I've given them too much grace. My ceiling is damaged and they boarded it up its been that way since Oct 2023 as you can see it's April 2024. This time I'll actually listen to my lawyers advise and sue for my rent money back. If me or my daughter gets hurt if the boading doesn't hold from their negligence ill own this whole complex. Also the run around is also the reason I'm reporting them asap. Do not apply to live here most of these apartment complexes are money grabbers and could care less about anyone well being or safety. BTW no matter if you pay $0 no damages such as ceilings caving should ever be put on hold. They're playing with people lives and I have a special needs kid here. I will no longer play nice to them or this funky company. It's crazy to believe i used to love living here it's not the complex it's the people running it/ maintenance is non existent it's one man who actually does his job out of like 5 men. I'm sure most of them aren't even licensed to even be doing the job that's why so much is done by outside contractors. Also again its many tenants here who dont speak out or get the run around. People don't be scared to report these places they would do the same if the roles were reversed. Lastly this isn't a jab against this particular severgn company however they all work together and for the same people. I know this will reach someone like the last time I had to do this.

They are crooks and thieves. They have been illegally evicting tenants. They've been stealing tenants rent and falsely filing failure to pay rent just to keep having tenants find ways to get money to pay what they have already paid. When you start to question then about things they try and find ways to make the tenants the problem instead of being honest. Someone needs to look into their files no notice make it a surprise. I bet they would be shocked at what they find. I was a tenant there for ten years and when it came time for them to do the horrible renovations all of a sudden I had to much income even though I had the same job the whole time I lived there and when you try to seek help from upper management they just forwarded back to the property manager and that starts the retaliation and bullying and harassment. They suck all the way around.

I live in Frazier Place in Smyrna Delaware and it's absolutely the worse place I've ever lived. The staff is EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful for no reason. I had to pay 2 fees for misunderstanding their confusing questions on the application. . The maintenance requests are ignored. They come into my apartment with a master key while you might be in bed or in the shower, they don't care. It only takes a cell phone call to make sure we are not in a compromising situation, but instead they enjoy barging into your home, sometimes for unnecessary reasons. Even with "prior notice" older and disabled residents may forget. I've never in my renting experience ever had this happen and it's a total lack of human decency that anyone would think this is OK. They tell you in a notice that you don't have to be home, they will come in anyway. What a liability issues that could present. They allow 4 housekeeping inspections per year but the invade your privacy over double that amount by escorting the maintenance man or exterminator when they are coming in. This is very evasive and I'm not sure why they feel the need to follow other professionals into our apartments. It's like living in a prison. For years I've had dampness and Black mold in my apartment which has been verified by a certified mold specialist I hired because they refused to do anything after promisingfor a year that they would.. I've been chronically ill due to a severe mold allergy. It's growing on the carpeting, on my furniture, apparel and other items have had to be discarded. I have a professional report and photos and numerous emails that prove nothing has been done. I always pay my rent on time and I wouldn't recommend this property management company to anyone. I just wish I had checked the reviews first because it seems to be a pattern with this company. have no idea how they can sleep at night knowing how horrible they treat senior citizens. and the disabled. Thank God for karma.

I've had nothing but bad experiences with the people at this company. They property managers are very rude. They act like they are better than you and just dismiss you like you don't even matter. Work orders are never done. One apartment had a large hole in the hallway floor. It was covered by carpet. Then tenant said the company knew about it but never fixed it. The tenant and his children said they got used to it and just go around it. The A/C-heaters never work. Roaches and rodents! They never seem to fix anything. They just take your rent money and say they will get to it soon. They never do.
