Initial communication was established and scope of work was discussed verbally. No paperwork was provided with the findings other than an invoice to prove I did have an engineer out. Upon request to revisit the property, 9 business days went by before a phone call was answered. He stated he was very busy but would have something to me the following week. The following week came and went, luckily, I was calling around for other engineers of which two responded timely and provided estimates for the work necessary to complete. Richardson never sent me paperwork, never emailed and never called to follow up. Would not attempt to do business with them again due to the lack of communication and the 3 weeks of my project lost.

I had hired Richardson Engineering for the past four years for engineering my project. It has been my experience that lately they have become very greedy and they submit inadequate redline changes so that the job gets repeatedly rejected and I had to pay them for redo every time. Recently, Rick Richardson could not get a reline thru Howard DPZ after four attempts. I dont know if this is dishonesty or just incompetence. Wish I had never ever dealt with them.
I am even considering filing formal complaint with P.E. licensing Board of DLLR.
