We purchased our beautiful new home at Duncan Farms - Smith Douglas in September 2023. Wow, I can’t believe it’s been a year already! From the first day that we visited the sales office and were welcomed so warmly by our sales agent Stacey, I had a feeling we were about to be home! Stacey was so helpful, informative, easy to work with and very patient. She stayed in communication with us and made sure the process went as smooth as possible. We were also provided with a building schedule showing our house was projected to be complete in under 60 days which is honestly almost unheard of but our builder Kenny was so efficient that he had every stage of the build completed on or before each due date. We are thoroughly enjoying our home and have been very happy here in this community. Duncan Farms is a wonderful location in Cartersville.

Stacey, Kenny and the whole Duncan Farm team were absolutely incredible in helping my twin sister and I purchase homes on the same street. The whole process was so smooth. Stacey was the absolute best in assisting with selections to sending weekly pictures of the building process. Kenny and Davis were awesome during the walk through. They were very thorough and made sure I had all the information in order to maintain my new home. The neighborhood is nice, quiet and walking distance to Hamilton Park. I am forever grateful and blessed. I would definitely recommend Smith Douglas. My experience was 10/10.

Stacey and Ken were super nice 😊 me and my Family are super house with are new home, my mother is my neighbor and she’s also very satisfied with her house, Stacey was very friendly happy and polite always willing to help, I was in another state and she would send us pictures of the house, I loved her. My daughter and I moved to the Atlanta area from Northern Virginia in 2022 to what we thought would be our forever home in Loganville, and unfortunately, we absolutely hated it. The builder was horrible and sold a ton of homes to an investment company to use as rentals which immediately destroyed our property value. It was such a bad experience that we only lasted 10 months there before we sold at a significant loss just to get out.

We were so determined not to make the same mistake again that we considered 175 other communities in the search for our perfect neighborhood. After visiting Duncan Farm and seeing just how helpful our sales agent, Stacey, was, we fell in love with the community and were ecstatic that we could customize our little ranch floor plan exactly the way we wanted. Smith Douglas even gave us a portal to keep track of when each step of construction would occur and whether or not it was complete so we always knew exactly where we stood. They’ve got the process of building houses down to a science, which was so wonderful for planning our move! (In contrast, the Loganville builder didn’t even want to give us a closing date because they were “afraid we would try to hold them to it”?!)

For our walkthrough, Kenny, our construction manager, was so helpful in showing us the different features of the house and explaining how everything worked. He even showed up early to start marking things he wanted fixed because he wanted the house perfect for us. (In Loganville, we arrived at orientation to see all our drawer and cabinet pulls crooked but our construction manager refused to let us mark anything and wouldn’t let us do a final walkthrough!) Both Stacey and Kenny were extremely professional and personable and went out of their way to make sure our Duncan Farm house was the house of our dreams and we couldn’t be happier with it.

As an added bonus, we can occasionally hear the trains whistling as they cross Hamilton Crossing Road past the neighborhood behind us. And even better, you can get to town and back from Duncan Farm without having to cross any tracks and potentially get stopped by one.

We really love the friendliness and diversity of the community and it’s perfect for walking. And Hamilton Crossing Park is right across the street if you’d like a little variety. Food City’s a fantastic grocery store and is only 2.5 miles down 41. And it’s a straight shot down 41 to everything else in Cartersville. Or head down 293 instead and we’re just 5 miles from Pettit Creek Farms. Sometimes we like to go the back way just to see the adorable camels in their pen by the road. As you can tell, we’re extremely happy with our decision to move to Duncan Farm and are very grateful for Stacey, Kenny, and Smith Douglas for making it such an easy and enjoyable process!

I recently purchased a new construction home from Smith Douglas and I love it! From the very beginning, the team at Smith Douglas were attentive to details guiding me through each step and addressing any questions I had.

Communication was a strong point throughout the building process. Stacey provided regular updates with pictures and was always available to discuss progress or concerns. Stacey, you are amazing!!

Kenny was very informative during my final walkthrough and I was impressed with how well everything came together. So far I have not had any issues or concerns since moving in.
