Beware of this company! We have provided prompt, professional plumbing services for this company with all the required photos and sign off sheets. I have been trying to get paid for past due invoices from over 6 months ago. We recently took on more work for them that they promised would be paid with a credit card at the time of completion and guess what, no payment was every received. When I call, all they will say is that they are behind in payments, and have no clue when we will get a check.

I wish I would have been warned prior to taking on work for this company, do not make the same mistake we did!

I’m a small business and I have invoices from April of 2024 and MaintenX still hasn’t paid them. “Net 60 my a$$!!!”. They owe me just shy of $7000 and I can’t afford to float MaintenX that money! They won’t call you back. Before you do work for MaintenX, be sure to have them pay you via credit card BEFORE you do any work for them!! BTW, I had a customer call me and tell me that they were going to request me to MaintenX to do a complicated job for them. Guess what? MaintenX did not call me because they owed me money and so they got some other poor unsuspecting plumbing company to do that job. Good luck getting paid! Thumbs down for MaintenX!

They owe us several thousand dollars for services completed on commercial properties. Have called atleast twice a month for the past 3 months. Same story everytime with no end in sight. Will remove this review once we are paid.

UPDATE: MaintenX have made a good turn around and paid a couple times past 7 days. Updating to 3 stars

MaintenX does not pay their vendors on time. They owe us more than 40k and they have been giving us the run around and they keep delaying the payments

I am a small business owner that did work for MaintenX over 7 months ago. We still have NOT been paid. Each time I get a representative on the phone, I am told the check will be cut "this Friday" or the next check cycle. MaintenX does not pay their bills. Be wary if adding MaintenX to your customer list.

Awaiting payment on almost $200,000, most of which is seriously past due. I wish I had read these reviews before offering to provide service for this company. Same story on getting the run around regarding payment.

If you are a vendor: BEWARE. We paid all the material, labor, equipment, etc already and are left hanging risking our entire operation. Lawsuit may be only way to resolve.

DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. They are on the verge of bankruptcy and are currently being sued by numerous vendors. They recently just laid off about 50 employees. If I was client/customer/worker I will avoid this company at all cost. Pay your bills maintenance x.

I recommend do not become a vendor with this company. They do not pay the invoices and when the invoice is due, they give you the runaround every single week do not use them.
