Greenscape landscaped my yard and put in an
irrigation system. It is absolutely beautiful! The guys worked hard everyday and the owner of the company, Mr. Paramore came everyday to help them. Very easy to work with and brought the top prime flowers and grass and watered it everyday they were here. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a beautiful yard.

On May 29, 2024. I hired John Paramore of Greenscape Management of Chelsea Ala. for landscape work. John came to my home on Lay Lake and planned out a design for new block retaining walls on the shoreline. Also, the plan included rework of the existing stepping-stone walkways and replace the deteriorated retaining walls at entrance to basement with block walls. John's estimate was higher than other estimates obtained, but quoted cost was in-line with the manual labor needed due to the configuration & obstacles of my property.
I was very nervous after the first two days as two works in his crew never showed up for work. The remaining two workers were steadfast and did a very good job with obvious lack of skilled block laying. When I didn't like the way something looked, they tore it down and started over. The completed job was acceptable and cleaned of all debris that was hauled away. The only thing I would change about the process would be to have a detail drawing and instructions of the design, so all involved would be on the same page, John Paramore, lead worker and homeowner.

John Paramore and his crew just completed a fabulous job for our home foundation and water issues. He came highly recommended from a neighbor, and from his initial consult, I could tell he was knowledgeable and committed to doing things right. He is very reasonably priced with diligent attention to the task at hand. At the end of the day, he brought value and trust to our home water issues and I highly recommend his services to anyone in need of foundation problems!

We had a severe water drainage problem in our yard. Our side yard was washing away and draining into our backyard. John assessed the problem, gave us a reasonable estimate and did the work quickly. He installed a dry creek bed, two catch basins and several French drains. Our side yard is not washing away and the backyard is not soggy. Afterwards, he and his crew also installed sod and two beds, and repaired our irrigation system. I am very happy with the quality, cost and timeliness with which John completed our project. I highly recommend him.

I was not happy with how John installed the walkway and fire-pit. I had to go way over my budget to execute a plan which was far from good. I had to pay him extra for a small retaining wall around the firepit area and literally, he just bought stones and arranged them around, many of them were loose without proper concrete application/base. The path to the firepit area he made was just placing some flagstones without proper concrete application. This was very unprofessional work(We could have done it ourselves!). Clearly, they don't know good concrete work. His crew damaged almost half of my backyard lawn by using excavators over them.

My suggestion: If you want to hire Greenscape please do it only for water drainage problems. They do not know how to do a good concrete work. Please don't hire them for landscaping. Please make sure you have every small detail mentioned on paper and get his signature as John forgets most of the things he had already promised and comes up with an extra budget halfway along.

John’s company did quite a bit of drainage work at our church and we were pleased. He had good ideas to address our problems and worked with us on options and cost. Unlike the one negative review the company received for John not being on the job much, he was on the property quite a bit and was hands-on. The workers cleaned up after themselves and were personable. We would use Greenscape Management again.

We have had a newly constructed home for one and a half years. We also had landscaping done that included drainage pipes. Until we had a lot of rain recently, we did not notice any problem, but water was backing up from the drain pipes. So this past month I called this Company to assess the problem. It was discovered that some of the drain pipes were crushed, which, in my opinion, had to be from the the equipment used by the previous Landscaping Co. The Company owner gave me a fair proposal and did the necessary work to correct the problem. Tonight during the rain I went outside to check the drains and all were working well. The owner was very kind and though and we were very pleased with his work. We will use his Company in the future. Bob Hollenbeck

Greenscape Management, LLC was able to solution a drainage issue where my flower beds and walkway would flood after a heavy rain. This caused major issues around the flower beds trying to keep plants alive, washout of mulch, and erosion around the grassy areas. Water can cause major damage around the foundation and Greenscape management took it underground and away from my house to natural drainage areas where water should flow. They were also able to provide a complete makeover of the plant beds and shrubs at a very reasonable price. John and his team did a great job and certainly went the extra mile making sure the property had all the finishing touches and restore the beauty as they cleaned up. I will certainly look to Greenscape Management for any future landscaping projects. Great Job John and team!!
