Our Family would highly recommend Don Dufer owner of Renaissance General to rebuild your home. Our home caught fire due to a renter leaving a candle burning overnight in the Living-room. We contracted with Renaissance General to rebuild our home.

They removed all burnt debris, dealt with City of Fresno a long permit process, replaced most of structure including roof and upgraded everything to current code. Ty Harpin was the superintendent in charge and he was terrific scheduling all work. Ty even had some tradesman comeback and redo their work as it was not up to Don Dufer's excellence.

The home we got back from Renaissance is twice as good as it was before the fire.

Extremely dangerous on the road! Pressed against me on the road being aggressive! Swerved around me and almost hit me ! Friant / 41n 9:15 am January 9th. I was in the middle lane and he could have gone around. All of the dangerous moves were unnecessary and bullying! Bad people

These guys are the best ever! I called them at 4:45 pm before they were about to close and they said “don’t worry about it, we have someone on the way right now!” We had an emergency water leak and they had a team arrive in 20 minutes. It was honestly unbelievable service. The most professional staff and efficient people I’ve ever dealt with. It still blows my mind. Furthermore, they detected a future problem and handled it on the spot. I’m beyond relieved and impressed and I highly recommend them to everyone. This is my second leak in my current home and I can’t compare this business to my last which lasted weeks and was stressful. We own and manage a rental home that unfortunately burned in December 2017. Thankfully, no one was hurt. However, the house was almost totaled, just down to the foundation and many studs and a couple exterior walls. Renaissance worked with our insurance company in what appeared to be a seamless coordinated team effort to rebuild the home with the least amount of inconvenience to us. The longest wait was the city of Fresno's approval of the building plans...took about 2.5 months. While waiting for the city, Renaissance completed removed all of the damaged property so that when the permit was finally obtained, Renaissance was ready to start work immediately. Once started, they worked tirelessly to make our rental home absolutely perfect in every way. The home was completed in November 2018 and is now rented to a very happy family who love their "new" home. Renaissance made it possible. Thank you to the entire "family" at Renaissance for all of your help and support in rebuilding our rental so that's it's better than before it burned down.

We lost our house due to a fire and Renaissance was the first company we contacted. They were out on the property within 15 minutes and patiently waited with us till the Fire Fighters gave us clearance to enter our home. While our house was being boarded up and fenced off for security reasons, other staff members from Renaissance were generous enough to come by with water, phone chargers, toiletries, grocery gift cards and arranged for us to stay in a hotel until we contacted our insurance company to begin our claim. My husband and I were so lost in life, not knowing what to do, but Renaissance treated us like family and held our hand each step of the way. Before the house fire, my husband and I had ideas on how we wanted to revamp our home and Renaissance was willing to work with us and took the time to meet to go over all the details. Even the installers were great to work with! Always accommodating and easy to work with. Our house is almost complete which will be down within the timeframe Renaissance gave us and we can't wait to move into the beautiful home they built for us!!!!!

I am a regular guy that has a small side business with my friend buying and renting houses in Fresno Ca. We unfortunately had a fire which totaled our rental property which was in a historical district in the city. The people at Renaissance streamlined the process for the rebuild, dealing with the insurance company and the city building inspectors and essentially allowed me and my business partner to relax and not worry... Which was much appreciated because we had no experience with a rebuild due to fire.

They work they did was outstanding and the property was upgraded which allowed us to later sell it and a significant profit. In addition to that, the rebuild cost more than we anticipated and they deferred complete payment for their work until we sold the property.. It honestly felt like we were in business with friends. I don’t hope for anymore fires to any of our properties but if we have any, I wouldn’t do business with anyone else besides John, Tamera and the rest of the crew at Renaissance. They are first class all the way around. I can’t recommend them strongly enough!
