I've used Gino twice now to prep our rental condo for a new tenant. He can do it ALL - paint, hardware, plumbing, electrical. Even prescreening 🙂 He drove up to Irvine on a moment's notice to fix a tub drainage problem, so thankful. As my engineer husband says, Gino owns the project from start to finish, going to buy parts as needed to save me trips, and suggesting good fixes to everything including things I didn't even notice. 100% recommend him and so grateful to my neighbor for telling me about him!

Call Expert Handyman first before you try a plumber or other handymen.

My experience with hiring Gino to install a new toilet was excellent. If you are tired of calling plumbers and/or other handymen only to get an admin assistant (or an answering service) to answer the call you probably already know their price is going to be higher as they must pass these answering service costs on to you. Plus, they will probably tell you they do not give quotes over the phone, or they have to call you back, or they have to send a technician to see the work that needs to be done first.
When I called Gino, he answered the phone himself. I told him what I needed done and asked him how much he would charge for it. Not only he was direct in giving his price, but his price was also very competitive (if not the best that you will find out there). He was the only Handyman and Plumber that I called that recommended that since I’m replacing the toilet i might as well also replace the water valve and waterline as he will not charge me the labor for these two. Only the labor for installing the toilet. After the he completed the job and left, I noticed that there was a very subtle leak coming from the nut connected to the water valve. I called him (this was probably about half an hour after he left) and he immediately picked up. I told him the issue and he came back. He tried retightening the nut and nothing changed. He told me he would come back the following morning to fix whatever was causing it. He came back the following morning on the dot and fixed the problem (which was not due to what he did, but due to the pipe that needed to be trimmed). He even called after a couple of days to make sure there was no longer an issue.
The transaction with Gino went very smoothly. He is efficient, knowledgeable in what he does and communicates very well. I did not feel rushed when I talked to him. He removes his shoes and does not leave a mess after the work is done.

I found Nasri though the Next Door App and also googled him. He goes by two names. Also Gino? After he worked here, I found him on my property and he had opened my home and let my dogs out without my permission!!! Very uneasy feeling. Has problem with patience, gets frustrated and does things in a hurry and is not licensed. I like things done right. He wanted cash payment and gave no receipts despite asking multiple times.

I called several handyman companies and left a message. Only Gino returned my call in a reasonable response time. He came over the next day to look at the problem with my kitchen recessed lights. I told him I thought there was some type of wiring problem (I was guessing since I don’t know anything about electricity). I figured he’d tell me what would need to be and I was expecting it to be expensive. Instead, he said it’s the light bulbs and told me I can just get new cans with built in lightbulbs. I told him I tried moving the light bulbs that weren’t working to another light and then it worked, but he said it was temporary and the easiest and least expensive way to fix the problem was to get new lights and he showed me on Amazon what light s to buy and sent me the link. He said these were great, because by clicking a button, I could choose the lighting level I wanted. I bought the lights on Amazon - 6 for $34.00. He told me when they came to call him and he’d stop by and put them in for no charge. They arrived and were so easy to put in that I just did it myself. He even contacted me to tell me to follow up to help me with the lights. He goes above and beyond and is honest and knowledgeable. In the future, I will call him for any work I need done by a handyman.
