We're SO happy with Shea built our home in 3 Roots! They faced a ton of challenges given the labor shortage and supply market and still managed to complete our home in less than a year's time. Everything was executed fantastically. Coming from a construction family, I can truly say they built a solid home. I'm very impressed.

The Shea team – everyone including the construction crew, realtors, and design center – were wonderful to work with: polite, professional, quick to respond, and empathetic.

Our closing date got pushed out because SDG&E didn't have our gas/electric setup, so every day from the original closing date to the new/future closing date Shea covered our hotel and meals ($40pp/day)! Once we closed, they included a house warming gift of wine glasses from William Sonoma! It was such a nice surprise.

Thank you for your hard work and dedication to live up to your name and brand, Shea. You rocked it!

Not a good company to buy your home. We purchased our 1st home from them at 3Roots-Lotus and the issues are never ending inside the home. For the flooring issue they have been dragging for more than an year and they never could completely fix it. Whenever i raise a complaint someone from the flooring company (3rd party) comes in and cuts the floor to check humidity and leaves the floor with tapes on it. And they never come back. Its been like this for more than an year. The locks between the LVP floor panels keep breaking for every 2 or 3 months. These people are not good builders and they don't care about the customer service request once the purchase is done. All they care about is earning profit with poor quality homes. Please think thrice before you buy with them.

Great company! There are many individuals involved, from the builders, to the sales office, the design team, and the mortgage company. Shea does a great job of fitting those pieces together and making it a simple process from the perspective of the buyer. Everyone we've worked with has been so kind, willing to answer any questions, sending us pictures/videos of our home in process, providing suggestions, and just generally being a wonderful support network. Not to mention doing this all through the pandemic, which deserves major props.

The mortgage was competitive and at no point has it felt like Shea is trying to take advantage of their position. We had heard horror stories about other builders and were a bit on edge starting the process, but Shea has gone above and beyond. We'll be raising our family in this home and I'm just so thankful that we went with this builder and not another.

Best customer service ever! We had very good experience buying a house from Shea Homes. They don’t throw customers over the fence after closing. They continue the services and are very responsible for the houses they have built.
