Hired Brandon for a survey of my property for a court case. Paid him $980. Very unprofessional, said his tablet was cracked and couldn't show us any thing on it and didn't mark any corners. Didn't bring tools borrowed some from my husband. Said I would be getting everything I need the next day haven't heard from him since April. Got my lawyer involved and he also tried to contact him with no reply. Now for my court date in June the judge is certainly going to know about him.

It's now been 6 months with nothing

4/2022 Brandon from Salient Engineering came out and went above and beyond, so I thought. Greatly appreciated and highly recommended his fake promises.
Fast to except your money and it's been a year with no results.

6/25/22 Where are my results?
It's been months.

9/15/22 and still nothing. It's been 6 months.

3/16/23 I called Brandon to see where my map was and he said if I don't remove my review "I know where you live and I'll send some friends"
I reminded him that he already has my money and the only reason my review was updated was because I had nothing to show for my $3k after 6 months.

3/16/23 Brandon wants me to know my proof won't hold up in court.

I paid and got nothing. He wants me to remove my review as a trade to get my results.

This guy will not only scam you but threaten you because he knows where you live.

Brandon to this day has not completed multiple jobs he originally promised to give us. we paid him in full and since then he has been impossible to get a hold of. so sad that this D-bag is going around the state scamming innocent people out of their money. If your considering him for working, i would advise strongly against him.

Needed a TOPO for my vacation home in Truckee, CA. It was November and I was afraid of snow and wanted to get it done quickly. Called Brandon and he was very accommodating. He was available and I gave him the job. He visited the site within couple days, prepared the report within first week. Ask me for the payment before forwarding the TOPO report to me. I paid online. He forwarded the TOPO. All standard process until now. I forwarded that TOPO reports to my architect and civil engineer. Both (architect and civil) engineers started asking topo related questions which should have been included on topo report. Brandon started fighting with both of my Engineers and accusing them for not knowing how to do their jobs. Both of the Engineers confirmed me that the TOPO report Brandon has prepared doesn't contain information they needed to move forward. My conversation with Brandon didn't go well. He started acting unprofessional. I had to get another TOPO report from different engineer. I never met the guy but here's my observation. Very young or very new to the industry. Doesn't hesitates to cut the corner, full of attitude, talks sweet earlier, zero teamwork skills. Very uncooperative, doesn't hesitates to blame everyone around him but him. Nothing but a headache to work with. I hope he realizes this soon rather late so he can create a beautiful surroundings which will serve him well.

We requested service and had an appointment. Days before appointment we received a bill stating service had been done..pay asap. I contacted Brandon, no this is not what we requested. He explained it was just a billing system error.

He came out marked corners and he told us we would receive two reports in the mail. After numerous contacts made never received anything. Terrible service from beginning to end.

If you want to be condescended to, left with an incomplete project and spend countless hours following up to see what is going on - then hire Salient Engineering.

After 6 months, my project is incomplete, I cannot get a straight answer to a yes/no question that I have been asking for nearly 3 months now, and I am treated very disrespectfully. Mr. Brandon Watson stated that he had read my email but that I was so "confused" that he didn't know how to respond to me - so he just didn't.

If you are looking for a professional, respectful company that delivers what they promise in a timely fashion, then hire a different company.

Salient Engineering is not your answer.
Brandon Watson with Salient Engineering lacks communication skills, professionalism, time management skills and follow through. One of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had with a "professional" company.
