I had Sunset Construction build a retaining wall and fire pit, run electrical and gas lines, including pre-wire for a hot tub, and pour walkways throughout the backyard. Greg and his team were easy to work with, timely, and communicative. He was also very accommodating when a couple of changes came along. I always feared working with contractors for such a large project, but those fears quickly melted away as soon as I met with Greg, and my backyard has been turned into a small piece of paradise where I look forward to hosting family and friends. This review is not based on cost. Everyone has a different opinion of what things should cost. This review is based on professionalism, outstanding detail in Greg's contract, and the results delivered as promised. Greg of Sunset Construction is an excellent communicator, and a true gentleman in business. His crew was clean, quick, polite, and very happy. They love what they do and it showed. Crews are often messy and wild. Greg is a Veteran and his leadership skills are obviously passed to the crew. Moral and enthusiasm in Greg's company made this an enjoyable project.

Contract was arranged, communicated and project was underway. Timeline was met and the result has exceded my expectation. Great Veteran Owned Business to work with. I will never look to another company in the future.

Greg took our pencil drawing ideas and turned it into a beautiful reality for us. The winding concrete walkways leading to our custom built covered patio, complete with lights and a fan, a great bbq area and sitting wall are all just perfect. Greg and his crew did a great job on our backyard BBQ and bar top area (work included concrete demo and re-pour, electrical/lighting, natural gas addition and a small pergola-type structure). Greg was prompt in all phases of the job, even starting the job a few weeks earlier than we had originally planned. I generally knew what I wanted, but Greg was more than willing to provide guidance on the various design/construction elements. His masonry/concrete guys (brothers, Felix and Jose) were awesome...they worked extremely hard, paid attention to all the details and were very courteous.
