Who doesn't appreciate and love Caltrain?
It's quick, it's on time, you don't have to worry about traffic and the scenery isn't so shabby either!
The brand spanking new trains, all shiny now, run purely on electricity. So that's even cooler!
Better get your ticket before you board; or be executed by the trains demon headmasters...
Just kidding. But people should pay for fares. Maintaining trains and employees isn't free...lol
Have a great ride!
From SF to SJ and back...if you like!

Easy parking. $5.50 for all day. Took Caltrain to a Giants day game. Train was packed to the gills. It wasn't until we were almost to SF that it was announced that another train was available to ease the overload of fans. Short walk to stadium. Recommend leaving game around the 7th inning as to avoid the long line of fans waiting in line at the station to return to their original destinations.

This is my chosen wait spot and parking lot. My husband prefers the BART side, but this one has sentimental value for me. Before BART there was Caltrain (aka AMTRAK). I am an avid cyclist and enthusiast.

There used to be a train museum in the little yellow shed like historical 🏠 under the overpass. I wanted to open a bike hut there for commuting cyclists, but alas, sub/urban sprawl caught up with us in the little town that is our neighbor called Millbrae.

Small bus circle on the Caltrain side of the transit center ideally suited for to pick up or drop off passengers heading south from SF. Northbound trains and Bart are also accessible but require escalator rides (or stairs) to their respective platforms. No real parking available; for that there is the multi level parking structure on the other side of the tracks, accesible from Millbrae Ave.

The visual affect of the moon greeting us, as we arrived in Millbrae was awesomely accompanied by Saturn,… or was it Venus, right next to the left of the moon?
Just like in the fairy tales! Look up to the sky once in a while folks! It’s brilliant out there… where no man has gone before…

Milbrae and I have good history....but several nights ago, I landed at Milbrae Bart Station around 11:15 pm and didn't see another Bart return to SFO, the first stop it makes, before it closed at 2:00am. I stood there knowing at least one more would arrive before closing time at 2 but I was wrong.

I'm not trying to be funny, by saying "there is always a spot available"!
It's not just because our world wide situation restricted us from going to work, hence a lot of folks do not need parking b 4 heading off to Millbrae Caltrain and/or Bart connections.
Generally, and I speak of experience, there is parking available, and it's a very clean area!
I lived here for years!!!
