Some of the most unprofessional behavior I have ever experienced is with both on-site and corporate staff of Garden Communities.

I don’t even write reviews like this on Google or yelp but these guys are worthy. There is zero customer service and they have little care when it comes to their guests. I could go on but it’s a waste of time. Look elsewhere if you’re moving to SD and looking to live at a luxury high rise.

I lived in one of their buildings for three years and one month before leaving we had an incident with a fire sprinkler that flooded the apartment. Luckily we had insurance and the claim was settled by them.

Fast forward to three years after I receive a "final notice" from them about a pending $12k bill from the incident. I had not heard from Vineland about the incident since I moved out (I'd clarify that the incident was filed under my roommates insurance since I wasn't involved with it)

The final notices says it has been over 30 days since they sent the bill, which makes no sense, and that they believe they have given me enough time to pay it so if they don't receive a payment 6 days from the day I received the notice it would go to collections.

I have sent them over 10 emails trying to speak with someone to understand where this bill is coming from. I have called to every office possible and the answer always is "corporate doesn't have a phone number, you just have to email them"

It has been over two weeks since they sent this "final" notice and we haven't heard a single word from them.

This is a desperate attempt to get anyones attention from this company.

If this ends up just being another review please believe every one star you see. This place is just a corporation trying to take money from whoever will give it to them.

Not to mention every hoop they tried to make us jump when putting in our 30 day notice even before the indecent happened, and oh yeah, the following things happened and no one took responsibility for it:

- Our mail box was broken into.
- Our cars were broken into multiple times inside the garage.
- Someone tried to get in my car while I was sitting in my car inside the garage.

Do not live here.

Horrible management. I had a ceiling leak pour into my apartment a month after moving into a $4000 a month 2 bedroom apartment. Had maintenance in my apartment every single day, running machines non stop throughout the night, and being overall loud. I moved out, received a poor measly sum of a rent credit and $30 utility credit with no breakdown of how this is being calculated. They are so responsive when it’s time for you to spend money, but when due a refund, they like to ghost you or take weeks to respond. The customer service is unprofessional, and I can confidently say, I had an awful unaccommodating experience with this community. The person responding to my emails is DW, look out for them as well, and save your money for another place because it’s neither affordable nor worth it.

To Team LJX wanted to give Oscar Mendoza and Fernando Vellamar a 5Star review I'm a long time resident and pretty much had every maintenance issue possible but this one was totally out of the ordinary actually don't think I've ever heard of it happening before a swarm of bees in my 5th floor livingroom!!
The guys arrived with their equipment shoe covers lights ladder and caulking hopefully to find the opening and seal it and reassure me it would be ok thanks Team I appreciate you all take care Sharon♡♡

If you like your car being robbed this is the place for you. We moved in and thought that this would be a decent neighborhood. The place looks nice enough and the amenities are good when they are open. Pool, gym are pretty consistent but other things like bowling or racquetball have just been either impossible to get a spot in or shut down for the last 2 years.

Now to the theft: I have had my new motorcycle, wallet, tools, equipment and various other items stolen from our cars since moving in. Management does not have cameras in the parking structures and from what the people at the office told us there are no plans to install them. Instead they post papers in the elevators warning people not to keep anything in their cars. This is hardly satisfactory mitigation. I doubt there will be much change as they say to submit a police report and that is the end of their problem solving. There is an unarmed security patrol that checks on the pools but does nothing in the parking structure. From talking to people in the area this has been a trend going back 10+ years.

We have lived here since Sept 2016, our lease is up in Sept and we will be leaving.... for the record, the maintenance and valet staff are excellent, friendly, polite and professional even some of the office staff are nice.
Now let me tell you the reasons we will be leaving: old, tacky, expensive.... I think management should have to park their vehicle 4 floors down in the parking garage. My bike was stolen, and my boyfriends car was
broken into, we also heard of other thefts from other people. The appliances are old and chipped (painted over) and the cupboards are recovered but are old and it's all coming off in the weak spots. For the amount of $ we pay
IT'S NOT WORTH IT!!!!!

Terrible experience for us. Had extensive repairs on our apartment due to exterior water damage that took 9 days to complete, and tore up half of our apartment. I sent several emails asking to talk to someone about the rent credit and no one has replied. Apparently there's a "customer service team" that approves the rent credit, but they won't talk to you. They will only talk to the property manager, who then talks to you, but the manager has no power to change or adjust their decisions. They use avoidance instead of listening to deal with tenants.

If you like your car being robbed, live in an inhumane condition and being ignored by the management company. Feel free to live here. Below is how my found my bath tub one day and how I found my car at another random day. Save yourself the trouble.
