Excellent, timely and honest. I am a licensed general contractor for 36 years, having been involved in land development as a primary focus. I was new to the area when I found Gary to take care of my surveying needs. When I contacted him he was honest with his price estimate and revealed up front that he would not be able to start my job for 3 weeks. He started my job in 3 weeks to the day. If we had corrections from the
County on a Friday, he would have them back to the County on Monday. He was able to complete the job under budget and kept to his "cost plus" agreement. As a professional in the business, I will be using him again and recommend him highly!

We subsequently contacted Gary to add a few easements to the survey which he did, again at no cost, informing us that this service was included in the contract with the previous property owner - what a "Stand-up" guy! My father's home burned down in the Thomas Fire. One of the necessary steps in the process to rebuild is a land survey. Gary was prompt, professional and courteous. As a lifelong area resident, I would highly recommend his services!

Not an honest man. After I found out my neighbor (A licensed contractor, architect, and Ventura Planning Commission member) was trying to encroach and steal my land she hired Mr. Salmen. In revenge they created a survey that attempted to show that a fence completely on my property which my wife painted had (somehow) become my neighbor’s property. My neighbor took the survey to the Ventura DA's office and attempted to have her arrested for vandalism. Salman knew the survey was a sham and eventually so did the DA. Charges dropped and we followed up with the DA about his practices. Furthermore, Mr. Salman was ordered by the State licensing board to correct his work. What kind of person tries to use his profession and surveyor stamp to slander a wife and mother over a land dispute? That would be Mr. Salman. There are better and more honest people out in the world. Support them instead.
