We recently inherited our current house on the family ranch and wanted to return it to the Spanish Revival style it was originally intended to have. After visiting friends’ homes that had exactly the look we were after, they directed us to their designer: Maraya Droney/Maraya Interior Design. The results of our total-house makeover are breathtaking; Maraya and Auriel created the authentic, early 20th century Spanish Revival look that we had envisioned. From tile work to light fixtures, beautiful draperies to custom-made period furniture, perfect color choices and a great eye for proportion, we couldn’t be prouder of Maraya’s transformation of our house into a true showcase.

As someone who has had the pleasure of working with this fir the last four years, I can’t recommend Maraya and Auriel enough. Not only are these ladies extraordinarily gifted and creative, they are a joy to work with. They listen to what their customers want, and they manage to find the best and most unique materials to finish the room. They have the ability to design in a variety of styles which allows them to be very responsive to the needs of their customers. They are professional, calm, and organized, yet very open. I encourage you to look at the pictures available so you can get an idea of the level of taste they are able to achieve regardless of the style. Every room is one you’d like to spend time in from warm, welcoming contemporary rooms to beautiful, traditional spaces that never look overly fussy. They work with color so well that the rooms are never bland, and yet nothing looks jarring or out of place. Whatever it is that you want, they can do, and do very well. I have had the pleasure of working with many designers, but I would Hire them. I have the advantage of knowing just how detail oriented they are and how very hard they work to get their client the perfect results. The level of service and ability available to you in this firm is truly outstanding.

Maraya and her team are currently working a second project for me. The first was a complete master bath and closet redo along with a new kitchen in a 1970's dated ranch house. I told her I wanted it to look like the new parts had always been there.WOW it was beyond what I thought could be done. I am so happy with her professionalism and her team. If I asked if something could be done her answer was "of course why not?". She was always on time, attentive to detail and a joy to work with. You will be so fortunate to work with her. I will post later on the new project...outdoor kitchen with all the bells and whistles. As expected with this new project we are on time and looking great!
