I do NOT recommend buying a D.R. Horton home. Not sure who they hired to build my home but 3rd graders would have done a better job. Electrical issues from day one, dry wall does not mate up with certain surfaces leaving gaps where you can watch bugs crawl in and out of. Half the doorknobs were installed screws only finger tight and then the paint held it in place.... until it didn't, causing the paint to be scraped off when the knob started sliding all around. Bathroom sink anchored into the wall only there was no stud for the screw and it was screwed straight into drywall without any anchors. PAID 480K FOR THIS FISHER PRICE MY FIRST HOME, MAN IT'S BEEN SOMETHING NEW EACH WEEK THAT SURFACES AND MAKES YOU REGRET YOUR NEW HOME PURCHASE. About to hang a banner on my garage to warn potential buyers.

My wife and I have enjoyed our new place so far. The process was smooth and the local customer service from Ashley / Jonathan and team has been great as well. My only complaint so far is the lack of coax cable sockets in each room ?. Great experience so far.
